That's what I do as well. Gunsmith mods are the only glimmer sink in the game. I dismantle the elemental grenade or melee recharge ones since the Paragon mods cover both. This keeps me in constant supply of mod components in case I need to buy a kinetic mod from Banshee.

Sorry to be the one to break it to you, but the paragon mods only affect cooldowns for Dodge, Barricade, and Rift.

That is unfortunate. I now feel foolish for having prioritized those mods. :(

It’s not all bad, I actually favor the paragon mods for my Hunter in PVE and PVP, and favor them for my warlock in PVE... Titan is arc grenade all the way though.

That's what I missed - I should've mentioned keeping your materials for rarer mods such as kintetic damage. I'll edit in a subsection & a small thanks for your reminder.
