Amazon Alexa Ghost issues

Anyone having issues with the Amazon Alexa Ghost? I got it connected, but the device isn't doing anything. All the talking is coming through my Alexa unit, and not the ghost. The only thing it's doing is sitting there with a red dot and nothing else.

    • Is this still supported? My Ghost's lights will not turn off after a minute. I understand it's trying to update but is the package there? My Ghost has been on for hours now.

    • I got the Ghost and it randomly just lights up and then I have to hit the mode button. What are the lights meaning?

    • I just got a ghost for the holidays and wanted to post my experience hooking it up. Had to do 10x and 5x resets.... bubkus, didn't work. Turns out that a echo dot may have been installed thru bluetooth instead of wifi and may have been blocking ghost from finding network in house. Once other devices were installed correctly ghost was able to be installed and presto... works now.

    • Oh wow, hows this for -blam!-, and not listed in any of the instructions. You have to say "Alexa, tell ghost to activate" then say the serial number

      • I got mine today and hooked it up with no problems. But damn is it a piece of junk. It's just a Bluetooth speaker... one that I can barely hear. There's no volume control, and it's just a low quality tinny sounding junker of a speaker inside the otherwise nifty little plastic shell. It's a shame they couldn't put more emphasis on the actual sound quality coming out of this thing.

        • Thought maybe it connected to the wifi wrong, but apparently you can't re set it up, and I can't find a factory reset. There's a Mode switch on the back, but it seems to do nothing. Ghost doesn't show up on wifi list anymore. I've been waiting for this activision ambassador for a while now....just stuck on an endless "Asking an Ambassador" loop. Something tells me that this will have to be returned to Amazon. Seems like real shoddy design.

          • I am having the exact same issue. I have tried the hard reset (flipping the reset switch 10 times). This is what I have tried thus far and am at your same conclusion. 1. Hard reset 2. Turn off all other networks and connected to ghost 3. Used internet explorer to access ghost via 192.168.0.1 4. Input serial number 5. input Wifi info (as my network was not listed) 6. says ghost is connected. At this point I run into the same wall as you. I get the swoosh noise, i get the flashing lights, then nothing. All voice chatter comes through my echo dot instead of the ghost.
