You can’t put the genie back in the bottle. The pursuit of knowledge is human nature. It’s also human nature to use that knowledge to gain advantage over your enemies. Nuclear weapons, as bad as they are, are here to stay. If some country somewhere has the desire to build one to gain power they will (North Korea for example). The only thing that will stand in their way is other countries also having nuclear weapons.

Uh... all I said was that it was unfortunate.

I wasn’t arguing with you. I was just saying why it’s impossible to go back.
-
I know I'm just not sure why you assumed that I didn't know that.

I don't know, if we hadn't developed those weapons there is a chance wars would still be somewhat common between first world nations.
-
That, and the N@zis would have ruled everything with an iron fist if they got the tech first.
-
Last I checked, there's enough wars in general. I don't care that it isn't between first world nations.
-
But since the first world nations aren't involved in wars they've been able to send aid, and progress towards more equality between others due to their being less hate for others

Not with each other, so they're able to work together
-
I don't even know what this means.
