That would require creating entirely new AI. Every subclass, and both paths in that subclass, would require its own AI for it to know what its abilities are and how to use them. Not to mention that every single crucible map would have to have pathfinding added to it. And even then AI pathfinding will never simulate a player's mobility.

Edited by Black Kraken R: 9/27/2017 5:48:10 PMMobility for bots? Just give them a Mida, 100% headshots assist and Super cooldown reduction. There.. Brw remember the Elites from halo legendary difficulty...smart bastards.. Bungie did that..

So -blam!-ing true
-
Accurate description. Which is why Bungie will make us pay for it. It will likely come in the form of DLC to make up for the time required to implement such bots, let alone private matches.
-
They did it back in the 90's Bungie make it happen now!
-
Back in the 90's games were under a Megabyte.
-
Under megabyte and ai was good. No reason not to make it better.
-
Point being that games were much simpler and easier to design for. Games used to be made with groups of like 4 or 5 people.

I understand your point. My point is theres nothing stopping them. It can be done and has in games before (yes, games recently)
