Help, player since launch, all data gone.(Ps4)
Hello, I am not sure how to contact support or what to do. I got a new PlayStation 4 and prior to switching, I uploaded all my saved data for all my games, as well as have auto-upload to online storage turned. When I attempted to download the data from online storage onto my new ps4, all the data for Destiny was gone. Recently, I rebooted my old ps4, where the data should physically be, and there is nothing. All I have are screenshots, videos and trophy completion remaining. All the data for every other game remains, except Destiny. I contacted PlayStation and was directed here. I did not delete it, I would never do that, I love this game. I noticed my profile, when I logged-in, has no data pertaining to my character but I do have messages from forums that date back to 2014. I have security check on my ps4 as well that requires a text-authorization to sign in on that PS4, so I am baffled. Is there anything that can be done to help this or is it lost forever?

6 RepliesHello Friskybiscus, Did you log in to the Destiny game? Or are you just looking on the website? Destiny does not save any character data files on your system, they are stored on the character servers at Bungie.

2 RepliesCharacter data is tied to the psn id and stored on the Bungie servers. If you logged into destiny on your ps4 with your psn and do not see your characters, then someone accessed your acct somehow and deleted them. You should change your psn password and enable 2 step verification. The missing characters or any missing gear cannot be replaced.
