Thank God that President Trump left the Paris agreement.

To all the liberals bitching; he doesn't want coal to reign supreme, he wanted to get the American people out of a deal that wasn't fair to them. We give millions of dollars to a program that does what for us exactly? Squanders our money on pointless things. I mean honestly when is the last time you actually heard anything about the Paris agreement before President Trump brought it up? If you really want change for the climate you don't need to donate money, you need to write laws. Trump even said himself he would be willing to renegotiate the deal, so long as other countries pay their fair share. I guess asking countries to not be scumbags enrages some people.

Here's a little bit 'o info about the climate agreement for all the buffoons. America is 'legally bound' to contribute $3 billion a year to the Green Climate Fund. Meanwhile, the rest of the would has a 'non-binding' commitment to the fund. Meaning they voluntarily pay, while America is legally obligated to pay. The funds go to third world countries to improve their green energy, not the US. There is no accountability to how the funds are used once they are given to a country. The leader could just build a YUGE mansion, put solar panels on it and call it good. The agreement stated that the US should reduce it's emissions by 26-28% below the 2005 emissions numbers. We accomplished this in 2015 with a reduction of 32%.So, before the agreement was ever induced, we already met it's requirements and was already reducing emissions. India is expected to get $2.5 trillion over the next 15 years from the agreement. India has no obligation to the agreement, should they not receive all the funds. Meaning if they only receive $2 trillion in that time, they could just keep the money and not do a thing with green energy. The agreement does not require China to reduce their emissions until 2030. So the US could drop their emissions to 0 in that time, while China isn't required to do squat. And finally, the coup de gras. China is allowed to build 1171 more coal plants and India is allowed to build 500 more coal plants per the Paris Climate Agreement. So much for clean energy... Checkm8
