Does Mayhem Take Skill?
I'm not talking about simply playing it. I'm asking, if you consistently get around a 2 kd, are you 'skilled' or are you just spamming your buttons?

I literally sat quite happily along side my team mates with a NLB and side arm. I'm keeping plenty of distance and I can 1 shot plenty and getting 2/3 kills every time I pop golden gun.

It's still skill. I still get the same k/d range every game that I do on regular games. I enjoyed it again tonight.

I managed to finish my scout rifle bounty pretty quickly in IB today.

Only engage when you have heavy I've only run into 1 player in mayhem where I thought damn, this guy is good On a side note, my son, who was 7 at the time posted a top 1% score in mayhem

Everything in crucible takes skill and because a lot of stuff takes a different kind of skill people assume it's easy. Try not to fall into the "mayhem mentality" of rush and spam abilities. As a lot of streamers have said 1 well placed grenade can be better than 100 bad ones. Just because everything charges fast resist the urge to spam. Use everything to your advantage. And especially take advantage of everyone that does rush in and mindlessly spam everything they have

My first reaction was hell no and I flash back to the three supers I died to in a row right after spawn. Then I really thought about it and voted yes. You for sure can get on some nice runs that aren't possible in regular crucible. But it is just as easy to finish many games even or negative if you just rush around with your super. It takes positioning and patience in a madhouse to consistently get good k/ds in Mayhem Clash.

1 ReplyMayhem is good to complete Quests and Bounties -Warlock for Radiance Multi Kills -Titan for Shindig in the Crucible(equip that TLW seconds before your team wins. Also hold onto that super to protect you from dying those last seconds with that squirt gun equiped) -All other PvP nonsense
