Honestly. Why can't people just use primaries?
Its getting so -blam!-ing annoying. Everytime you go anywhere its a -blam!-ing shotgun that kills you. Other people might not find it annoying but I hate it. Its cheap in my opinion. Load of bs

However I do see plenty of players rushing straight towards you and you know they have a shotty. Just back peddle and shoot

Because im doing the thorn quest ( the part with the void kills in pvp ) i could use atheons epilogue but it would drop my LL resulting in no infusing fodder

Can't. Have a Scatter Grenade with Nothing Monocles and every kill gets me a my grenade back completely. Also, why use a slow fire rate pulse for a shotgun rusher when you can end that kids dreams with a fast charging fusion?

1 ReplyThat's what turns you to the dark side. I now use my primaries in the open and swap to shotgun at choke points. Sometimes a slide shotgunning is needed but oh well. When in Rome, do as the romans or something.

If you shoot from a distance the primaries should work, but I can't fault someone for running up to me with a shot gun when I ran up to them with a primary and lost. Although there has been times when I was close enough with a shot gun and hit them and they turned and brushed it off and gunned me down with a pistol. That's annoying. But bottom line, use what works. Don't get mad, but find that SOB and shoot em in the back. If you can't get revenge then maybe... perhaps... they are just a better player... or players.

4 RepliesI agree and I'm fully part of the problem. Did a few IB runs last night. Tried my Parthian Shot and couldn't compete with Clever Dragon. Went to a couple of my go-to scouts and still couldn't make much happen. Tried Saladin's vigil and couldn't be fast enough. Finally switched to my Palindrome and Matador and was somewhat useful for my next game or two. I hate it, but I also don't want to be the guy tossing the game because I didn't go with the current meta. That being said, I don't want to see nerfs. I want to see some of the less used weapons buffed back up. I love Saladin's Vigil and I've had talks with others on the forum the past few days on how to properly use it which has helped. But when I compare my slow charging fusion to my full-auto matador with rangefinder, it's really no contest. And since IB is about winning, it makes it tough to say I won't use something on principle. Anyways - that's my rant. TL:DR, I agree, but agree knowing that I am part of that exact problem.

Or have a side arm with quickswap and hot swap to just melt a non jug shield titan or warlock gliding to you. If it is Jugg shield try jumping backwards really high with any class and you'll definitely survive the initial shot, but because you'll be weakened, the follow up shot will need even less to kill you, so you'll have to act quick.

Cryptic Dragon yo. I use primary weapons all day. If it wasn't for this shitty Light Level system, I'd use different primaries. But noooo. Light Level determines your strength/power. Can we just have a normal XP-based MMO/RPG/whatever the hell this game is, please?!

Just use the Waltz from FWC -- and as hard as it seems, don't go rushing in head first towards control points unless you use a shotgun and are comfortable with it. Instead, focus on team shot and you'll tear apart rogue shotgun warriors.

Telesto ground, jump, melee. Shotty dead Trespasser working well against them also. Close maps? Unbent tree with hcr, very few make it to you

I use fusion rifle most of time for defensive against shotgun rusher. Don't worry about my timing. It fine.
