Bubbles- Give it to me.
Flint- No.
Bubbles- Yes.
Flint- No.
Bubbles- No yes, or yes no?
Flint- No no.
Bubbles looks at Flint intently.
Flint shakes his head.
Bubble- Flint, I will make you an offer I have never given anyone ever before.
Flint- No, I don't want a monthly salary in smarties.
Bubbles- But they're goldenly delicious.
Flint- They're goldenly retarded, just like yourself.
Bubbles gasps.
Bubbles- Flint! You said the R-word!
Flint- What? Rap–
Violet- OKAY, that's enough. Stay focused. We've only got a week left to finish our book report. And I'm not gonna get an F because of you two.
Flint leans back against the wall.
Flint- C'mon, Violet! When's the last time you got anything less than an A on an assignment?
Violet- Last month. The first time I got partnered with you two slackers.
Flint- Right. About that–
Violet- No excuses. Just get back to work. All of the other groups are probably hours ahead of us by now.
Flint- Ugh. But this book is so boring!
Violet- So what?
Violet places her copy of The Books of Sorrow on the desk in front of them.
Violet- It won't just read itself.
---------------------------
Meanwhile.....
---------------------------
Storm angrily scripples notes on a piece of a paper, flipping through the pages of the book in front of her.
Storm (mumbling)- None of this makes any sense...
Solis- What's that I see, ladies and gentleman? Solis is taking it in for the goal!
Solis runs past Strike and sprints across the room, holding a Hive tomb husk in his hand.
Solis- HE SHOOTS! HE SCORES!
Strike- No, SOLIS!
A crash echoes throughout the room as the Titan plants the husk into the whiteboard.
Storm looks up from her work. She looks back and forth between Solis and the cracked board.
Storm- .........
Solis- What?
Storm- .........
Solis- What's wrong? Don't worry, I'll fix it. I've got a hamme–
Storm- NO! No, don't do that. Definitely DON'T do that.
Solis (shrugging)- If you say so.
Storm shakes her head as she looks back down at the pile of papers scattered across the table.
She closely inspects the book opened before her.
Storm- Just doesn't make sense....
-----------------------
Meanwhile....
-----------------------
Sunny looked up at the sky, watching the blood-orange sunset slowly fade into the black of night.
A latch opened up behind him. Sunny was startled, but turned around to see Nightly standing on the roof beside him.
Nightly- Hey.
Sunny- Didn't see you there....
The Warlock turned around and looked back up at the sky.
He heard the Hunter make her way closer. She sat down next to him on the edge of the rooftop.
He didn't say a word to her.
Nightly- Haven't seen one this great in a while.
Sunny didn't respond.
Nightly- Almost began to forget they even existed.
She looked up in awe, amazing by the sheer beauty.
After a few minutes of silence, she spoke up again.
Nightly- Sunny.... We miss him too, you know.
Once again, the Warlock didn't respond.
Nightly- Think about how Bubbles is taking it? And as much as I hate to say it.... Even I miss the little pervert.
Sunny chuckled at that. But then his face turned serious again.
Sunny- It's been three months, Nightly. Three! I could understand a week, maybe a month. But three months?! Without even a note telling us why?
Sunny sighed heavily.
After a couple minutes passed by again, Nightly laughed.
Nightly- He was really an asshole, wasn't he?
Sunny- Yeah. He was.... But he was our asshole.
Nightly- .........
Sunny- ......shit.
Nightly- Yep.
Nightly looked up at the sky. It was now completely dark.
Nightly- He'll be back. I know it.

Glad to see your back, and I think I know who's gone. Also, I've started my destiny stories. Their on the Destiny Journals subreddit on Reddit

Hoo boy! The roller coaster is on that upward climb! Soon we'll reach the top and it'll go hurtling down the other side! XD

... and now it's back...

Oh how I've missed these stories! Thank you, I love you salamander man!

As you could tell, this story arc is going to be heavily influenced by one of the deepest and most interesting pieces of Destiny's lore: The Books of Sorrow. Facing all kinds of new challenges, big and small, the students of Tower High School will once again be thrust into the harsh world of Destiny. And as they begin to learn more about the Darkness and its power, they may even come to learn a bit more about themselves.... That said, I am by no means a knowledgable lore master. If anyone has any suggestions on lore topics or episode ideas, I'd be happy to add it into the series! Hope you guys like where this is going! Stay firey. ~Salamanderis
