You gotta love how people used to cry for private matches
Now I guess the "majority of players" couldn't give 2 shits about them. Well majority, go fu[b]ck[/b] yourself. We wanted private matches since the beginning and bungie listened to us. Bungie always listens to us, but you're a bunch of sheep. We wanted a gjallarhorn sparrow, we got it. We wanted an exotic strangers rifle; we got it. We wanted a horde mode; we got it ( PoE ). We wanted an exotic kvostov; we got it. We wanted weapon skins; we got it. I can't comprehend how much this community complains. Get the stick out of your ass people. Bungie still loves us.
Everyone has been commenting "But OP what about important things like servers?" And the answer to that is easy. The game is from 2014 guys, it's pretty -blam!-ing old ( game wise ). The servers aren't gonna be the best, and Bungie can't update them without using a whole new net code. Just wait until destiny 2 and Bungie will more than likely implement dedicated servers; just to keep with the times. The next thing being that "SBMM is horrible, why don't they fix that?" And I too agree with this. However, players should still have the option to do skill based matchmaking. Thanks for the support and for the critiquing.

These are great and all, but they are extremely lacking in options. Tbh I've played several today, and it's already getting kind of dull. Hell having the ability to set a queue of maps to rotate through before having to go to orbit should have been a function, or perhaps an end of game timer to return everyone to orbit automatically after match-end rewards screen. It's a good start, missing basic functionality. As usual.

I've heard that private matches affect kd. Is that true? I'm above average and better than most of my friends so I don't want to get stomped in crucible because I get a godly kd in private matches.

A few people wanted those things and we got em. Just like all the nerfs. A few LOUD people want them and we got em. MOST of those playing the game couldn't care less about about 90% of all those fine things on your list nor did we ever ask for them.

I wanted a raid that was quicker than VOG with more hectic & fun gameplay & better rng, I got it. I wanted to get IB rank even when I lost games, I got it. I wanted a quicker way to get planetary materials, I got it. I wanted my raid gear to be at least level 30 before having to upgrade it, I got it. I didn't want to buy exotics I already owned & level them up all over again, Bungie made etheric light. I wanted thorn to be weaker, I got it. I wanted sparrow racing, I got it. I wanted more sparrow options, I got it. I wanted 1:1 infusion, I got it. I wanted different IB playlists, I got it. I wanted trials to be more rewarding, but harder to get to the lighthouse, I got it. I wanted to be able to level up my gear faster, I got it. I wanted vanguard & crucible marks to be unified, I got it. I wanted strikes to be more creative with unique bosses, I got it. I wanted to be able to buy weapon parts & armor materials, I got it. I wanted to be able to move gear through my phone, I got it. I wanted a needler in Destiny, I got it. I wanted to be able to play shotty snipes in Destiny, I got it.

7 RepliesEdited by Swiftlock: 9/14/2016 2:35:08 AMYeah, and with all that stuff, we got pointless weapon nerfs, pointless ability nerfs, laggy PvP, and a poor loot system where you have to excessively wrestle a bad random number generator to find the one specific item or perk roll you're looking for (which you could totally just never find at all and get screwed over completely no matter how hard you grind). Bungie may have good intentions, but it's [b]always[/b] one step forward and two steps back in what they do to the game, and that's the real reason why players are frustrated with them. Sounds like you need to chill out and think a little more before posting next time.
