The best piece of advice I can offer is to play all classes every week. I've been playing since day one and every week I play all classes while doing the weekly Shaxx bounties. Playing all classes gives you better insight into the strengths and weaknesses of each class and makes dying to those classes a lot less painful. Blink strike, shoulder charge, crazy warlock melee range and fusion nades are a lot easier to shrug off when you've walked a mile in those shoes. It's a lot easier to commend your opponent when you've been on both sides of the tactics they're using.
Do yourself a favor and shoulder charge the crap out of people on your titan. Clutch a trials round with your Blade Dancer, melee people in the next star system with your Warlock. Play all the classes and get to know each one. You'll be a better guardian for it. Just some food for thought :)

1 ReplyI don't think one has to play all 3 classes / sub classes to realize that some are in FACT OP and or under-powered in some regards. With enough game play rather playing 1 class are 3 you see with your own eyes how things work. For example, Supers: Running around while basically invincible throwing around balls of fire instantly killing everything in your path is just slightly OP compared to BD's "Super" which is way too easy to shut down and much harder to execute successfully. It just is. That's just one example there are many more. One doesn't have to play that class to see this over and over again. I've heard some claim Blade Dancer is "hard to kill" as if it somehow has more armor than Warlock / Titan... If this is really true please show me the way! My BD is set at maximum armor and it often feels as if I have basically no armor.. I don't bother to play Night-stalker in PVP (defiantly wont since they screwed shade step) as that sub class is now a joke by comparison. Gun slinger: It's super "Golden Gun" how is it not at a disadvantage? I don't even play GS in PVP and I can see this. You get a MAX 3-4 kills (4 with certain exotic helmet) and you actually have to aim / be precise to get the kills vs. running around tossing balls of fire or electricity for example.. To suggest that ALL classes are somehow perfectly balanced is frankly laughable.

60% of the time, this works every time.

7 RepliesI'm going to reduce my frustrations every week by playing more Halo and Warframe and less Destiny. Frustrations instantly reduced at least 50%, if not more!

How to reduce crucible frustration by 84%
don't play it
1 ReplyYou need all 3 to truly understand the game.

10 RepliesTrue..its make you just smile and blame your own stupidity when you get killed by your opponents instead crying for nerf. We all know those the crybabies are the ones that only play 1 char.

1 ReplyEdited by meatballsublime: 8/30/2016 4:12:55 PMGreat post. People who have three hunters, three titans or three warlocks, shouldn't even be allowed an option to make a nerf post. Posts like this are welcomed counterbalance. ...and no, I don't mean the gun perk. LOL... it does seem like you took it a little rough on the warlock melee though. EDIT: Fixed a brainfart... put "aloud" instead of "allowed". Don't know what I was thinking. I probably shouldn't be posting while working.

9 RepliesGood advice, Now. How can I pick ripe avocados from un-ripe avocados?

Good post. I main a warlock and when playing a titan or hunter I realize using their abilities isnt always as easy as they make it look. I mean, they still suck but I understand it better. (jk)
-
4 RepliesI cannot comprehend people that "main" classes. 8==D💦💦💦

1 ReplyI would do this, except for SBMM. I haven't played on my Titan or warlock in such a long time, I try to play on them and get pummeled because of how un-used to them. I do feel like people should do this though, and with weapons to. That way, people who complain about snipers will at least actually know how they work, same for shotguns.

12 RepliesI agree with this to a point but there will always be certain play styles I dislike. I started Destiny as a Titan and I can say with complete certainty that jugg shield coupled with the Universal Remote is one of the douchiest play styles I've seen in a competitive shooter. But don't think Titans get all the hate from me. No no no, Warlocks and Hunters can be equally awful in their own right. Smoke and grenade spam from Nightstalkers coupled with the invincibility frames from shadestep can cause my blood to boil. As for Warlocks I would say they're the least infuriating at the moment given that Sunsinger, once the most obnoxious thing in PvP, have been soundly nerfed. Now the only real frustrating thing is spending half of a match running from an axion bolt. I would argue that these 3 classes are currently the best overall for PvP but I don't think the gap is anywhere near as wide as it used to be. Heck I've been outright doo dooed on by Defenders and that class was once thought to be a PvP joke.

Have you tried out of map or in map out of map spots in crucible?

The only thing that annoys me in this game is bad teammates. As long as they are putting in some effort, I'm happy.

Edited by MNN8TV: 8/30/2016 2:43:17 PMVery strong advice. If I'm sucking sniping on my hunter (he only snipes). Then I switch to my Titan (he only shotguns). My main is warlock but because of that its fun to use others when not going try hard. It helps me understand this strange concept called fun.
