If you're in the tower...
And you see someone who is a higher light level and you want help... [b]don't spam them with game invites or party chats[/b], send them a message first and see if they're busy or if they even want to help you... spammed invites are so annoying.
Edit: I thought I was alone. Clearly, a lot of people feel the same as me; send us a message telling us what you need help with. It's not that hard. No message. No help. Spam = blocked.
Edit 2: This goes for friends, too. I don't mind helping out. I don't think I'm better than anyone, but there's still stuff I need to do in this game from week to week, so just send me a message to see if I'm busy. Out of all the comments, one person thinks I'm a douche. Lol. Look at my k/d and all my raid completions... I'm not a top tier player, I don't play Trials, and I just recently started doing KF on hard. My wording might suck, but the point still stands. And we're trending.

Judging by the comments, I can tell who that one annoying friend is... All the down votes must be those same exact people I wish to avoid.

I have no issues helping kinderguardians but only if they ask not spam invites or even people on the friends list that spam invites while doing stikes or pvp blocking you mini map. So obnoxious i actually blocked of dude for this last night. Sent me 7 invites in one match of rumble and i sent him a message say wtf im busy no reply just more invites

2 RepliesComplete opposite for me. I get 335's messaging me for CoE Countlessly and it's annoying. They don't send a message, they spam invite forever, and then send a message. Completely horrible since my HDMI cable is going out, continuous flickering of the screen every notification.

I understand you there, I have not played ToO since the first week it came out. Doesn't matter though because every Friday if I swing by the Reef I get invited to join teams. I just tell them the truth. "I'm sorry but I am not good at the PvP in Destiny." Or something like that.

1 ReplyAfter a certain incident, I'm no longer helping randoms. You either gotta be in my friends list or I have to be in a REALLY damn good mood. I may even get friend requests and I don't just take them from anybody, you either gotta be cool/nice AND/OR mature or you can Fuk right off!

Yeah especially you get invited without being told to do stuff with them. I get invited to do Trials which is stupid really....how would they know if I can go flawless? I only did that once in Year 1 on my Warlock xD OR That I get invited to do a raid and expecting me if I had experiences. I keep telling them, check my grimoire but they keep asking if I had experience. I even showed them I got the Touch of Malice but nope, they never listen to me. XD I really hate that from really dumbass people (meaning those squeakers; no offense). They don't bother checking on grimoire or the raid weapons I own.

Back when I played Everquest on ps2 you could spam lfg messages for everyone to see. I wish they would just add something like that.
