Match making for nightfalls
Dear bungie please give us matchmaking for nightfalls . I fully understand that raids can not be matchmade but atleast apply it to nightfalls .

Yeah what difference does it make anyways now? Yr not getting anything good anyways, and the challenge is that of a strike anyways... Nightfall is garbage.

As long as it's optional and as long as your fireteam spots aren't filled in automatically if someone drops.

5 RepliesThe option for matchmaking should be on any event... just make it a toggle.... Yes this includes raids and Osiris... I think it would bring some life into the game... help meet new people... you gota turn on the mic for the raid and talk to strangers. sounds fun to me. give me 5 randoms for crota's end! bring it on!

Edited by Bella x Nutella: 8/17/2016 4:37:13 PMI agree that OPTIONAL matchmaking is a great idea. Guardians will have the OPTION to either do it themselves, with a friend (or 2), or with two randoms. I know I am not the only one that has come into the situation where you are running a Heroic Strike with a friend (or a random) and then one AFK random player is also present. It's not that the strikes themselves are hard, but if the Nightfall became matchmaking and the fact that someone random could just sit in a corner spinning and do nothing and get rewarded an exotic at the end when myself and a friend (or other random) receive a 330 legendary=3 legendary marks... well that's ridiculous. So having the option to either deal with the possibility of that or not, should be up to us. And it should be for all playlists, including patrol. Having the OPTION is what we need, not being forced into it one way or another.

Yes please release a bit of content us solo/people who work unsociable hours/non sweatys paid for. You know you should have said listen we will lock you out of 30% of the content of this game if you don't have 3-6 friends willing to play the same game on the same consol at the same time as you how many would have bought it Bungie

I agree. There is not reason not to anymore. NF's used to be more difficult and it was desirable to have a fire team that you can communicate with. But nowadays it's just a strike with added modifiers.

Optional. A lot of people solo them, so they wouldn't want matchmaking adding people while they're mid mission. But definitely add optional matchmaking.

So long as I can opt out of matchmaking and go in solo, I can support this. I support matchmaking for all things, but I want it optional so I can go play strikes solo, jump into a nightfall solo, etc.

11 RepliesIt has always appeared to me that Bungie intended for Nightfalls to be matchmade. It even says it's matchmade on the website. https://www.bungie.net/en/Activities/Detail/1/4611686018438573049/2305843009263799138?activity=nightfall Look at the left side in about the middle. It says "matchmade." Also, did you ever notice that when you launch a Nightfall it says "Searching in 3...2...1..." before it starts? It says "Searching" for everything that is matchmade. If you launch a Patrol or Mission or Raid it says "Launching in 3...2...1..." Bungie intended for Nightfalls to be matchmade and just decided to flip the switch off.
