It probably won't happen since MS turned down Sony a few years ago. Now, MS is getting smacked around in sales, and they decide they want it. That's why Sony hasn't signed off on Rocket League. I wouldn't be surprised if they never do.

Nah. Sony is too phobic for any of that. They don't embrace innovation. They never offered for cross platform play and if they did, source. Even still, sony turning them down due to sales is not smart business, it actually antagonizes a large consumer base hungry for more. Truth is, it would be fun, but PS players don't amount to any kind of real challenge, pvp wise. So yeah, in the end it makes little difference.

So, you play against PS players in Destiny? In 2002 Sony was cross-platforming with PC. They offered to cross platform PS2 with XBox. MS never reaponded.

In the meantime, it is what it is. As for Sony's 2002 cross platform gaming, it was one game, Final Fantasy. There was nothing to respond to. Use your head brother, stop being vague an cryptic with your information. In this era, where it matters, xcross platform play is a desired feature by many in both communities. Rocket League is positioned to be the first true xcross plat game. However, Sony is BSing and pussýfooting. Overwatch is another game where the CEO is seeking cross platform play but is getting sidebarred by Sony. Don't look at the devs or Xbox, look at your own masters cracking that whip. Seems greed is preferred over your wants. Lol.

Wow Xbox fan boy spouting bs. Sony has had cross platform with pc for awhile, Xbox finally got on board and said it would work with playstation just to make themselves look good.
