Whether you are Christian or not, I am sure that almost everyone knows of Adam and Eve.
The Bible says that God created Adam and Eve. At first glance some of you might think that God created a man called Adam and a woman called Eve... But:
Did you know that translated from Hebrew; Adam and Eve refers to "man" and "woman". So when the Bible says that God created Adam and Eve, it is actually saying that He created Men and Women.
Just something I learnt today and I find interesting.

Interesting. Do you know why woman is called woman? When Adam saw Eve, he said 'Whoa, man!'
-
Aren't the two words singular, or does Adam mean men and Eve women?

1 ReplyNot gonna lie, thought you were talking about the sex store

So maybe the Bible speaks of humanity as a whole, instead of just two people. Huh.

2 RepliesGod was actually an alien experimenting on primitive humans. The "apple" that gave them knowledge was probably some form of metaphorical genetic manipulation that forced an evolutionary leap in the test subjects, making them self aware. The snake is a reference to reptilians, which are presumed to feed off of negative emotions (or conflict, more likely, they're probably just narcissistic and insane).

Cool story brah

If that story is true, god's an idiot

2 RepliesHere's another fact about Adam and Eve, they never ate an apple it says that they are from a fruit
-
Here be another for you: there is debate as to whether the 'rib' Eve was made from was actually his, well, his penis bone (almost all mammals have them; we humans don't); this debate is due to the possible translations of the original word.
-
It also says that Adam was created from dirt and Eve was created from Adam's rib. So.... yea. Take it all with a grain of salt.

1 ReplyI prefer the story of Adam and Steve.
they both lived happily because neither was a greedy bitch who was dumb enough to listen to a snake
Did not know about that. Interesting

Edited by KrayZSamurai: 6/21/2016 3:01:27 PMGod did make Adam and Eve. God realized that man should never be alone. So, Adam was put into a deep sleep and God took one of his ribs, and from that rib he made the first woman, Eve. When one says "man" it's often a generic reference, such as "mankind" is. So, when God created man, he created mankind.

What about the dialogue bits ? When "Adam" says something is it really some arbitrary number of men(plural) who all say the same thing at once ?
