Would make it spamable again. And every nightstalker Would use this build. Which is against what bungie is trying to do.

  • I wouldn't. Nightstalker is my favorite class but I don't even like shadestep.

  • There is ofcourse some one who wont. My bad for saying everyone. However i Would guess 75-80% Would use this. It's a pure guess and can't be used as an argument. But it's what i imagine Would happen.

  • that is true, but think of stormcallers for instance. what exotic should you probably use? always impossible machines. nothign else pairs with the subclass worth using. Bungie, in my personal opinion, nerf's the strongest thing. make it go a shorter distance maybe, or have a longer cooldown if using 2, something the dev's could do I am sure, not somethign I have access to.

  • I hate impossible machines for pvp, prefer claws, since I run full discipline

  • sounds like a legit start to me. I run max intel, tier 3 all else, and so having a devastating super 3 times a game, team wiping... that's 18 base kills with super alone. plus the kils b4 and after each. I don't like double melees bc IMO shotguns beat out melees always.

  • I usually run high impact scouts with side arms(sometimes fusion rifles) and extended melee range

  • I use ram on warlock. No matter the subclass, might run nothing manicles on Void tho. Landfall is only on super activation and two shadestep makes the nuteral game on nightstalker so much better. I feel the exotic is fine. You can get keenscout and shadestep.

  • they would have to give up keen scout, a top tier part of their neutral game. as for the ram, I feel it doesn't do anything for me, however that is your opinion. good having this conversation with you mate!

  • That's fair. I still don't like the spamming effect the shadestep had. Whenever i used it i felt like it was kinda cheap. However some adjustment to the helm could be made. Maybe an improved shadestep that covers more ground? It's a really difficult ability to nerf or buff without it being op or up. With the ram you survive shouldercharge, sniper headshot (running radiant skin) flux Grenades, trip mines (now everyone does tho) that some of the few reasons i like it. Can come in clutch and is a big reasons exotic armor is banned in competitive pvp.

  • indeed. just my suggestion. maybe the devs would get a kickstarted idea from this... maybe... anyways that is why there is that third option afterall, but eh who knows. Bunige can be stubborn so we will see in the long run.

Since they nerfed blink i wouldn't keep my hopes too high for a shadestep buff . But oh well. It's a cool subclass, i'm just glad they raised the skill cap a bit.

  • It wasn't too Great before the last nerf. Still usable if you're a good blinker. However it's a rare breed. Probably just did it to Justify shadestep nerf. Bungie is wierd that way..

  • they do have an interesting style. blink is REALLY difficult now. I compared some year one footage of mine to recent footage... It is like polar opposites on the spectrum.

  • Indeed. Blink was abit to op tho. Still feel like they hit it too hard. Can't use it on Voidwalker. Unusable without quickdraw, Imo.
