Personally I think the undead legion armor is the best in the game as far as weight goes. Great resistances and decent absorption. I also love the sunset chest with nameless king leggings. Forgot what I use for the helm though lmao. There's a ton of good combos. Still love ornsteins armor and brass armor. 2 of my favorite pieces in ds1 and still in this game. Also the nameless king whole set is definitely one of my favorites. Neither of my 2 characters can wear really heavy armor for the most part. I think I have 30 vit on my pure quality and just 25 with my quality faith. The 5 comes from prisoners chain though. Great ring.

I almost exclusively use: Target shield+Some weapon(usually Sunlight Sword, Exile Greatsword, Carthus Curved Sword, or Hollowslayer Greatsword). Firelink helmet Undead legion body+gloves Sellsword boots
