I've noticed on the gunslinger, some times when I try to use a throwing knife at distance, my character would whiff the air with a regular melee, and on top of that, the throwing knife would go into the full cooldown (not the whiff quick recharge). The same happens to sunsinger scorch flame shield as well, the flame shield would not trigger but scorch would go into cooldown. Has anyone else experienced this (particularly in crucible)?
