Seriously, in the last 2 days I've gotten a total of.... ZERO event items... except stupid ass candy that is of no use to me.
I heard that people are suiciding and throwing matches in order to speed up the process of getting nothing in hopes that they might get something… and I am damn tempted to start doing that! Why the hell do I want to sit through a bullshit elimination mode I don’t even like just to get shitty blues and strange coins at the end of the match?
I just want that Valentine shader since it’s my absolute favorite color ever.
I don’t even care about a stupid 320 ghost. I never wear my most powerful gear, and 318 is high enough for all end game content.
I love Destiny, but these drop rates are wack.
Edit: I finally got a shader last night about 1.5 hours into playing, still nothing else though. Tonight I'm probably going to suicide farm while reading Lovecraft because I've played over 7 hours of this bullshit event just to get the shader I didn't even care for.

In my opinion Crimson Days has/is a total waste of your gaming time,. In a loot based game playing new events like Crimson Days can be great FUN....Here's the catch PROVIDED the time investment yields rewards. When the rewards are lacking or underwhelming it takes away from the experience of playing the event. It makes the event feel like a total waste of time. Crimson Days is/was a waste of time. Sorry but after playing 13 games at 316-317 light, finishing all bounties and cashing them all in together. I only received a 295 Brave Shell and an emote. Did not see any high light legendary items nor any ghosts drop as post match rewards during this time. You never get a second chance to make a good first impression. I'm done with Crimson Days.
