No he's not
-
You do realize superman is forced to hold back right? If he did go faster than light speed on earth it would cause catastrophic Damage to the environment. Superman can go faster than the speed of light. Flash has the speed force aura which is the only reason he is able to go faster than the speed of light in the earths atmosphere. So if you want to argue that he was holding back superman was as well.
-
Yes, but the fact is the Flash is faster. That's the point of his character, so why don't you provide proof of your claim?
-
Yes he is in all there races they were forced to tie so no one knows who is faster
-
The Flash has said that he holds back in their races.
-
I'll give you the this flash can beat superman on earth. But not in space. Can we agree? :p
-
On Earth the Flash would absolutely destroy Superman in a race. Superman has never been shown to go above the speed of light. The Flash has gone much faster than that, even fast enough to break the space time continuum and travel back in time. The Flash could also kill Superman, by grabbing him, running around the earth several times as fast as he can, and then slamming Supes into a wall.
-
He has shown to go faster then light as he was able to fly to the sun and back in 2:00 as shown by Death Battle.
-
I know that Flash is faster, but Superman definitely can move faster than light. If he can hold and reverse Earth to turn back time, he can definitely go faster than light.

Edited by Edcub One: 2/6/2016 2:05:03 AMThat was just the movie version, and that doesn't make any sense. Although I can move faster then light in the comics.
-
Scientifically, yes. But if he can spin the world that fast, wouldn't you think? Watch ScrewAttack's Goku vs Superman. Somewhere in that video they calculate his real speed.
-
Edited by Edcub One: 2/6/2016 2:11:03 AMNo......it defies the laws of physics in every way imaginable, including the idea of moving faster then light without warping space. Also fictional characters like Superman or not consistent in speed. Although he is usually show to be ftl.
-
Edited by Relyks: 2/6/2016 2:13:28 AMOf course it defies the laws of physics. They're fricking comic books (or graphic novels, if your that kinda guy/gal). I'm pretty sure Mr. Fantastic defies the laws of physics. The only person who abides by anything scientific would be Firestorm, and even he has two humans inside of "him."
-
I was just saying, being able to reverse the earths rotation and send things back in time doesn't, from a Scientific standpoint, =ftl. That's not to say I think he can't go faster then light, I know he can.
-
Edited by Relyks: 2/6/2016 2:19:35 AMOh yeah, of course that's fake. But if he can really spin the world that fast, I'm guessing he can go FTL.
-
Edited by Edcub One: 2/5/2016 11:57:07 PMProve superman is just as fast
