Thank You Iron Banner....320 on all 3 characters
Here is what it took to get to 320 on all three characters:
Completed hard mode raid (and challenge mode) 3x every week since it came out...
600+ races in SRL to get enough 320 helmets and 320 class items.....
Grinding iron banner for 30+ hours to get a 320 ghost shell to drop....
So please dont say its all luck....Had to grind a shitload to get to 320.....

Just hit 320 on all three characters, and my journey there was almost identical minus the SRL. I couldn't put myself through that torture.

I put in just about as much time as you did and all my chars are only 319 lol but I have to switch my weapons around though

1 ReplyThat sounds miserable. How is that even enjoyable? I did 3 sparrow racing and thought wow this is boring and not worth my time to grind for light gear that makes an insignificant different in the damage output I do at 313.

Well as I did over 400 races and never passed 318 on a helmet or 314 on class, I am gonna say that luck still plays a part

Screw you lol I got 1 320 and that was a chest piece for meh Hunter For meh Titan I got 315 pair of gauntlets

Technically you do still need to get lucky with rng drops. Not taking away from your efforts though, that grind is horrendous. Signed Closed beta vet who -blam!-ing hates playing destiny now

It's still luck because it's rng, I did the same thing and never got a single 320 class item from the races, highest one I got was 318, I've also done the raid 3x a week every single week including challenges, still stuck at 319 because I need class items on all three characters...

320 gives you a great feeling of accomplishment. Well at least it did for me.

Also a 285 Haakons Hatchet with focus fire. A 310 mark for my titan. 307 and 308 helmets for my hunter one a psn exclusive and one is not.

It is luck, a lot of us have also grind as much as you if not more and are still not 320

I've long since realized anything above 313 is pointless. Oryx challenge is completely doable at 313, 311 even but that's a bit of a stretch. If I raid these days, it's for my clan only.
