Just hit 40 with a light level of 235+ What should i do now ?
So yeah , Just hit the level cap and now i'm looking for the next thing i should try and accomplish. I'll let the other guardians PVP for now. I'm would like to start gearing up properly for raids and what not.
I just need more direction for better drops and what kind of coins or marks i should be farming and where i should grind out my other skill and rep.
Also i would love to play with others and join a team unfortunately i usually play at 5 am California time before i go to work so there isnt alot of people that i know that play during that time.
Currently playing a Titan with that Exploding Fire Hammer of Death .

1 ReplyStack up your marks for better gear you can run. Normal raid at 285 ish an do prison of elders for strange coins an if you have 3 of coins drop them on the ultras

You need to farm those engrams! When you turn them into the Cryptarch you need to only turn one engram in at a time. Check it's level, if it's higher, equip it and move on to the next. Repeat this process until all of your engrams are decoded, remembering to check the level and keep equipping the highest level gear. For weapons, do this even if you don't like the weapon type. You can switch back to a lower light weapon after. But keep that higher level weapon in your invintory or vault and equip it again before turning in more engrams. The purpose of this is to raise your overall light level. The higher the light level of your character the higher the light level of the items that are decripted for you. Once you're up to 290-295 you can hit up the normal King's Fall raid. If you finish all the Taken War quest lines and the Road to King's Fall quest line you'll be set for getting your 310 relic. Also, if you get as many Calcified Fragments as you can before the raid (and some other quests, I think the legendary sword quest and the one alternate version of the Undying Mind strike are some of he things you need to do), and pop into the raid before hand just on your own. You should get a quest from Eris for the Malice. While you're doing all that extra stuff you'll be getting those engram drops you need to get better gear, and you'll also score experience for your class abilities. Good Hunting Guardian!
