The update on ps4 is stuck on "preparing to download"
As the title says.
EDIT - i installed it and still cant get online....

Hi there, The servers are back up now. If you are still receiving the "Servers are down for maintenance" messages when attempting to log in, please try clearing your console cache. Here is a guide on how to do so: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539

Yes. I was about to delete my game and re-install, but I waited for a bit first and it jumped from 0 to 84 for me. Once I can see the sizes, it seems the update is around 500mb.

It is just an issue with play station. The update isn't really 18GB, it's just that there is 18 Gb of update data all together and the ps4 has to look through the data to verify what you need then it downloads what you don't have. It's dumb but it can help if you ever get corrupted data in one of your update files.

Yeah. It's only 18gb if you decided to delete the download before it finishes. If you sleeve it then it has to install the taken King all over again.

Mine was stuck at 0% then jumped to 85% and it's been going up bit by bit. It still says preparing to download though and hasn't given me a file size yet.

Same with me except it doesn't show how much gb to download yet how long before it shows usually?
