I stopped watching at 2 minutes because it is all just plain WRONG. "It was Bungie, not Activision, fanboy." False. Activision, without Marty's permission, took "creative control" over Marty's music, a direct violation of his contract. Marty complained, presumably threatened some Bungie employees, and then Activision told Bungie to drop Marty. "They took all of Marty's music for 10 years." What? No. Look at the soundtrack for TTK (it's on iTunes: give it a quick glance-over): O'Donnel's name isn't even on it. It's entirely new music created by separate composers. You can even tell from the titles and general sound of the music: O'Donnel's 'Music of the Spheres' had Excerpts, such as the Rose and the Calamity. These are absent in name and sound from the TTK soundtrack. Couple that with the fact that Marty had the rights to MotS, not Bungie or Activision, and it's clear that this is false. (Note: Activision has production rights, so Marty can't produce the MotS, but neither can Activision as Marty has creative rights.) "I worked as my mom's secretary, and let me tell you..." K. I think we can all see how this is flawed logic. "Human beings basically think they're the good guy." Where are you going with this? In fact, what the heck are you talking about? This is about contracts and rights and money: where'd you come up with this good/evil bs? So anyway, don't listen to this guy.

Christoph3rs0n, you appear to be living in a fantasy dimension and your unwillingness to fully watch the video just concretes the fact that you are indeed a fanboy and are emotionally attached to Bungie. It's okay, we all are/have been. However, Bungie is a very different company now and the video poster's points are very true. I advise you and anyone still questioning this to really think about power and how easily it is abused, and how precarious human relationships are. There are obviously MASSIVE differences of opinion and philosophies about life within this company and it's become very fragmented. Also, I dislike how you took everything he said out of context just to make your (irrational) point. He said he worked as a secretary for his mom who was a lawyer (a great personal reference with substance) and saw many really messed up court cases on the paperwork side. It's first hand experience, unlike your unreferenced and completely baseless rebuttal. Watch the whole video and try to come up with a real referenced rebuttal or gtfo.
The reason why marty is not on the soundtrack because he was (obiously) fired. Because of the lawsuit, Bungie could not use Music of Spheres, and had to hire more artists to make a new soundtrack.
