RIP Last Word
Thank you Bungie for killing my favourite Last Word and every other hand cannon. Hand cannons were the only guns I loved to play with and now they are almost useless in PVP. Almost everybody now uses auto rifles in PVP. The fun of PVP is gone straight away for me. Hate spray and pray gun fights. Already hate the update just for that.
Edit: A little less disappointed but still think they should give the Last Word back the normal range it had. I believe it was 20 out of 100 instead of the 10 it now has.

You -blam!-ing serious? TLW is still on top. Hand cannons in general took a beating in the patch BECAUSE of the last word. I'm so sorry that your last word only kills in 1/2 a second instead of 1/4 of a second, must he SO tough for you. Shit still needs nerfing. It beats out ever close to medium range gun, and you're complaining that it got nerfed by a quarter of a second?! Shut the -blam!- up.

It's still a force to be reckoned with when used at its INTENDED range. Apparently you've gotten used to using it as a full-auto scout rifle. Sucks for you. If you can't take out autorifle users with Last Word, wow. Autorifles are only useful in close/mid-range but they should be easily taken out by TLW.

Its still an op gun in close range the way it should have been i love the the last word and i see the nerf as a perfect thing

it was a OP weapon.... You can't deny that. This new meta is wayyyyyyyy better the fact that I can use suros jr (abyss defiant) and still do very well with it is a good thing. I love that I can run any weapon i'm comfortable with now.

"normal" range was incorrect to start with.... stats bar shows you where actual range should have been to start with.... you just got used to using a CHEESE weapon

Yea range didn't need to be slammed so hard. The biggest problem was the ADS glitch. Now it is basically just an auto rifle with a little mag.

Just because other people use auto rifles now doesn't mean you have to. I was enjoying pulse/auto rifles while all y'all were using your silly hand canons. It doesn't matter; use whichever weapons you like.

No, the range it had was way higher than 20, it could out shoot scout rifles at range. It's good now. A good primary for snipers who get bum rushed.

I still use it but I wish it had a little bit more range so I could 3 shot hip fire more often

It's still very good. No more sniping people across the map with the sights aimed down. Learn to hip fire.

Its still a great weapon. Just gotta not suck. Took me a bit of getting used to the lack of range.

I used TLW in a Rift match and did fine with it. I didn't use it as a sniper as it performed last patch. I used it as it was supposed to- as a close range hipfire weapon.
