Just carried someone through Lighthouse...how ungrateful (-_-)
So I saw this post the other day that a goodhearted Guardian helped someone to the lighthouse for the first time, he was saying how gratefull he was. You know what it got to me! 😄 So I went to LFG in search for a Guardian who desperately wanted to go to the lighthouse. This one guy got my attention, his post didn't show how desperate he was :P his post on LFG said like "you MUST be good or don't waste my time" but I remembered that guy cause I looked his k/d up weeks ago which was 0,17 :P but it's 0,34 right now so he did improve a little :P I said to my friend lets do it! Let's carry him!!! And boy what a struggle it was !! But we finally did it without losing any matches. After we won our last match, that guy who we just carried to his first ever flawless just left the fireteam..without even saying "thanx guys" 😐
Edit: so many positive reactions!! Even people offering to take some of you to the lighthouse! That's great Guardians!! Show some more love!

I livestream trials and recently got my first group of 2 followers to the lighthouse. Both have never been there before. Best feeling in the world, and the thanks rolled on for the next hour :D

Thats shocking! Me and My clan help people and there have been similar instances where we take them through VoG/Crota/PoE and they have had great drops, but they also leave the fireteam without a thank you. I don't let it spoil it for anyone else though

I will take his place in saying thanks... You deserve that thanks. Wish more people would take the time to assist others experience the end game content. Well done. Lighthouse is out of my reach, but as a group we took 7 first timers to Skolas yesterday... A different grind. But each one stopped and said thanks or pitched in after their run even. That social element is a big part of the game.

That sort of post (the guy looking for help) really winds me up. Ive only tried ToO once and it went badly, i am no pvp god (about 1.2-1.3 KD on my warlock/hunter), but i hold my own in normal crucible so i imagine with a decent team i could do OK in trials if i put the effort in. But if i did try i certainly wouldnt demand that the other people joining me were masters, how am i in any position to demand that? He seemed to have the attitude that he deserved to be carried... all this dont waste my time stuff... dude you are wasting everyone elses time getting them to carry you. He sounds like a clown

I think if that was his post on LFG then it was kind of obvious he was an idiot. Big pat on the back for you and your friend because you wanted to help out a fellow guardian though.

5 RepliesI've unfortunately never even got 5 wins on my card I have NO trials gear (except for the drops from playing) I've come to terms that I'm never gonna make it to the lighthouse.

Which I don't mind but I'm half ass decent and would like to get there at some point. I would've been very thankful for something like that.
