The rocket launcher doesn't need a buff. It is easily as good as Gjallarhorn against most boss enemies and is an excellent weapon for zoning in PvP and PvE. The only reason people harp on Dragon's Breath is because of their bias against it.

This guy knows. If you can hit a boss right (this requires aim since it doesn't track), then you can get a boss almost stuck between all three flares. I killed Urrox so easily with it.

Dragon's breath is NOT capable of out damaging gjallerhorn, even if the enemy takes full damage from the solar flare. The wolfpack rounds are just too powerful. I think that this is a clever way of making it much more appealing, even if having a ww2 bomber on your shoulder is pretty darn appealing already.

I didn't say out damaging. I said as good as because it can do the same damage as gjallarhorn against many of the more stationary boss enemies in this game. Considering that wolfpack rounds are being nerfed it wouldn't make sense to buff Dragon's Breath. It would end up in the state Gjallarhorn is right now.

This is why things like Gjallahorn are so used. Every boss in destiny except things like the Templar are just giant bullet sponges...
-
And since people wanted something more challenging the strikes in TTK are raid-light with mechanics instead of bullet sponges.

I still can't wait to see Mr. Cabal-with-Brass-Knuckes-Flying-At-You. He looks like a fun ass boss fight
-
I can't wait for the boss fight in total darkness. I'm also jealous PS users get the strike boss that Datto came up with.

Lol...I wonder if he got that Tee shirt.
