Suppressor Grenade Bug

Hey everybody, I am a die hard defender in the crucible and (for the most part) feel I can counter just about every super that is thrown at my bubble. However one thing that is very difficult to deal with is a blade dancer using razor's edge on my Ward of Dawn. I often rely on my suppressor grenades to shut blade dancers off, but it seems they work less than 50% of the time. As you can see in these videos, I have examples of the grenades landing direct hits and failing. I feel this issue needs to be addressed and fixed to help the defenders keep their sanity in the crucible. Cheers! Sincerely, DirtMerchant

    • Yes please. I am so tired of watching a super-powered Guardian get bathed in the void energy of my suppression grenade, only to then come at me with his super intact and blow me away. It, in particular, has a predictability poor chance of negating a Bladedancer's super. PLEASE fix this. It would be fine if the Ward could withstand super attacks, or if we had some other way of counter play on a super level, but we don't. The suppressor grenades are all we got. And they're not working reliably at all.

Hi, While I can't say anything about this grenade glitch, I thought you might be interested to read this
While Luke Smith isn’t ready to concede the Titan being a lost cause – he claims the Defender is the strongest PvE class, bar none – he and Bungie are well aware of the Titan’s shortcomings in PvP, especially that of the Defender. In fact, 2.0 may contain a balance buff for Razor’s Edge vs. the Ward of Dawn. Without announcing anything specifically, Luke acknowledges Bungie has plans for taking a look at Titan talents, Exotics, and their inherent weaknesses compared to the other subclasses.
http://planetdestiny.com/gameinformer-podcast-review/

    • This is a glitch that was recently brought to Bungie's attention. Suppressor grenades will damage and shut off a Bladedancer super if they are just running at you, however if they are mid swing using a swipe or ability such as Razors Edge they do not work. The Bladedancer will be damaged and the suppressed icon displayed above their head but it will not cancel the super. Expect a fix soon. Bungie are aware of this.

      • It might be that they don't get fully suppressed if they are in a swing
