The Ram
Is overpowered. It's as simple as that. It should be void walker ONLY. sunsinger should get none of the buffs
It shouldn't work with sunsinger due to the armor buff during radiance which is even higher when using radiant skin.
While in radiance they can take an efrideets spear to the head and live. They can eat a golden gun and live. It takes two golden gun shots to kill a warlock wearing the ram while they are in radiance.
The fact the damn priest class can have higher armor than the tank class WHILE still having blink is also bullshit but whatever
Edit: Warlocks are wearing robes. Titans are wearing future plate armor. Warlocks should never have more armor than Titans.
The pulse rifle changes coming with 2.0 are going to make the ram ever more powerful as armor rating is going to have a large impact on pulse rifle TTK

Edit 3: seems to be a lot of people calling me a cry baby. The sentiments I tend to have with class/weapon/armor balance tends to be shared by the better pvp players as we want the game to be more balanced. Balance is a good thing and asking for it is also a good thing. Leaving things unbalanced for months is a awful thing as the crucible devolves into a one trick pony which has already happened with warlocks and the ram. Variety and balance is good. Dominanc/overuse is bad no matter what it is that is dominating.

7 RepliesYou realize thats a very specific setup and situation a Warlock has to run to achieve being overpowered as you say. Radiance + Radiant Skin + The Ram I mean sure, the Warlock could tank alot of pain, an Efrideet's spear or a Golden Gun shot. Although Ive never seen or heard a Warlock living through a Golden Gun, Ram or no Ram. However, Radiance is a very difficult super to be consistent with. Upon activation you could get four kills, one kill, or be Nova Bombed/ Fist of Havoc'd out of existence. Even with the Ram, a Sunsinger really isnt any better than they used to be. Smart players will just run away. You wouldn't go toe to toe with a Blade Dancer or Golden Gun, why a Warlock in Radiance? If you want to talk about an exotic helmet that is somewhat overpowered, talk about the Symbiote. Four guaranteed kills ever super? Thats not even accounting for combustion or penetration.

1 ReplyDon't be a hater bro it's not just any raggedy old robe they are robes infused with the most extreme of magical defensive light running thru every fiber and stitching and any wise warlock knows there is no plate of armor on a Titan or any metal in the universe that can even be considered a match for a holy robe.

Warlocks can eat gg bullets regardless of ram or not but yes it's overpowered. Either the amount of armor it gives needs to be removed entirely or taken down a notch. Even without being in radiance the ram allows people to live alot of bullshit, my main gripe being that they can live a razors edge. Now I main warlock and I still think that is bullshit

8 RepliesTitans are 99% invincible in their bubbles with the right loadout. And bladedancers are 99% invincible with the right loadout. So until those two things get nerfed, the ram on a sunsinger is fine.

Like this one, there are mmos that completely abandon the Heal/Tank/DPS style for characters, changing it to Magic/Ranged/Melee/Defense/AoE or Support/Attack/Defense. This way, all the classes are awesome and you don't really need to think about healing, tanking, or doing the most damage. At least, thats how i view it

I've read a lot of these comments and yes the increase armor is an amazing perk but I see a lot of people who are saying that the life steal perk is good it's total crap there's a cool down on it if you never hit someone and they don't die and melee hit them again you don't get the life steal since its on cool down and if your hit while the healing is in process it stops healing They can remove the increase in armor if they make it so the melee attack will always proc life steal or at least make it so the kill will always hill you
