TTK represents a critical point in this game

We've heard that Bungie is comfortable with the value they are giving to us players. But do you, Bungie, think players will be comfortable for the value they receive? This is so critical to the success of the game. If TTK whiffs, or its shallow on content, or if it's storyless, or if the enemies are too bland, or if the boss mechanics aren't creative, or any other number of issues, the game may not survive. And I'm not predicting doom and gloom here, I'm just trying to articulate that basically you have control over how Destiny is remembered. Will the first year define it? With a grind-heavy game, and overpriced DLC containing content that looks like it was on the base disc? Or will Destiny transcend the controversial first year and start fleshing out the universe that we can see taking shape in the Grimoire cards? This is Bungie. Bungie that made Halo. While many people who contributed to Halo are no longer with Bungie, the studio's history still remains. The pressure is on because Halo was so amazing and it's on because the community believes this game will be amazing. The anguish from the community is born from disappointment more than ire. This is a call to arms for Bungie. Really produce, really pack this expansion with content and make an impression on us as gamers and as consumers. With a poor expansion, the game's critical flaws and apparent business practices define it. But with a great DLC, the game becomes transcendent over those things. If you're debating whether or not to include something in the expansion, include it. If you're concerned about the amount of content you have, no problem. If you put enough stuff in the game, the gamers will be satisfied. The ball is in your court Bungie.
