Who is Doing IB for Etheric Light?

I am not doing IB for Etheric light, I am doing LB for etheric light (Lag banner)

I am playing IB just for kicks. It's loosely like playing Trials, but I can play with whatever gun I feel like and be competitive. Like last night, the group I was streaming with on twitch, all decided to pick the worst gun they had on their character and play the round with it. I chose a revelator I had never used before and it was a lot of fun. Took me a while to get that first kill with it, but in the end, it was more fun than just the same ol' meta. I don't need the Etheric Light, but it will be a bonus. twitch.tv/angry_iceberg

4 RepliesEtheric light will be irrelevant after the taken king comes out as all weapons and armour that pre date it will not be upgradable. Might as well save crucible/vanguard marks and buy the new gear that will surpass etheric caps.

After doing really well in ToO last week, im pretty stocked up for EL. Managed to get like 7/8 of them. Im doing it for the helmets for my titan and hunter, and for some fun. I like playing IB when its not lagging

I got 30 some Etheric Lights don't need any more I just play IB for fun to be honest just to poop on kids

I've got 20-some EL lol I'm content with running trials every week and getting 3 from that. You can average about 9 or so if you go flawless on 3 characters.

3 RepliesLol wut? Do you live under a rock? How did you not hear about the new leveling system in a month that makes all of the work you put in this dlc useless? You can be level 1 today, put destiny down for a month, come back during the expansion and be on the exact same playing field progression wise as players who have been here everyday for a year.

2 RepliesThere's no point if you already have 3 lvl 34s since there will be a new lvling up system in a month, everything will become useless.

SGA- remember - if you are going for EL- get your first toon to LVL 2 then work on the next two- once your first is lvl 2 the others have a buff that helps their lvl "keep up" with the first

I realized I need to EL some crappy Hunter armor so I don't have 564 strength any more :p I could just play more Poe 32... But I am real sick of Poe :)

I'll be doing it for the light as i've done trials once on one character and that was enough. PoE is pretty boring and i've received the grand total of 1 light from 3xnightfalls per week since HoW dropped. I've received 17 etheric light since HoW. I need it to ascend pulse reload gauntlets on two chars and will probably use the other 4 to ascend a MG, a high RoF shotgun and couple of snipers for element damage variation. I'll pretty much have every armor and weapon loadout option i want after that.
