"But the update will have like 1/10000000th of the content of vanilla for 2/3 the price. Wahhhh wahhhh. I want my mommy"
Perhaps this is why you crybabies should stfu until you know everything you're getting with the update, no?

3 Repliesi could care less how much something costs. if i like it and want it im going to get it.
-
So there will be like 8 or so mew exotics, 30 or so legendary and like 4000 variants on rare/uncommon. I can say I have a Lamborghini and a Pagani in my garage, just because they are 1/24 scale doesn't make me a liar.

The Taken King features the largest armory any Guardian has ever seen
Annnnd only one or two weapons from the "largest" armory will be used.
-
Not arguing, but those stats don't quite match up
-
5 RepliesWell I bought it last month because it's my money I earn from work.
-
3 RepliesNew guns to do the same shit with.
-
2 RepliesEver think maybe we should know details before the price is announced? Marketing 101. Everybody's got money, sell me what you're offering before trying to take my money.
-
2 RepliesI will complain about the price because it's $73 -blam!-ing dollars here so stfu.
-
2 RepliesYa and 1/3 of them will be GameStop exclusives until January 2016.
-
Still not worth the 50% extra U.K. players are being asked to pay
-
2 RepliesEdited by Fraz117: 7/24/2015 4:55:54 PMWho cares how big the 'armory' is when they'll be precious little to use them in? FYI the reason they may well put a vast array of new guns in is to prolong the grind doing the same couple of pieces of new content they've actually bothered to create. Edit- that's assuming 95% of the new weapons aren't garbage.
-
6 RepliesTTK should cost no more than $20. Just goes to show how much they're ripping people off.
-
1 Replyand maybe 7 guns will actually be good?
-
1 Reply...most of those weapons will be white, blue, or green. Anyone expecting the MMO aspect this game was sold as has plenty of room to complain.
-
Last time I swear. ......
-
2 RepliesThere is a good chance that 90% of those guns will be garbage
-
3 RepliesEdited by Swiftlock: 7/25/2015 1:44:55 AMProbably because the last two expansions were generally underwhelming and Bungie hasn't done much in the way of restoring faith. It isn't hard to figure out why some players are skeptical and frusturated, especially when some people have to pay more for the expansion than others, namely people in certain countries. I'm actually a bit surprised you had to ask this question.
-
4 RepliesIs have no problem with the price tag of Bungie delivered with flying colors for each installment, but sadly, they didn't. HoW should have been 10$ at best. I lost all trust and faith in the company.
-
1 ReplyIt's the "bitch about anything" crowd man. Doesn't matter what Bungie does. They will always be salty about it.
-
2 Replies"... But you won't be able to hold more than 2 of them because we won't increase your vault size!"
-
8 RepliesIn all fairness the only way to really know how much you're getting from the expansion pack is to play it. In the past, their verbal explanations have been greatly exaggerated so much to where they were basically untrue. Greatest armory could mean tons of rare and legendary guns we will never use, with only a few good legendaries and exotics. It's possible TTK will be worth $40 if they show up with everything they say they will. But there's no reason to believe this aside from their promises, which haven't shown to be very reliable.
-
7 RepliesIts overseas thats the problem its $40 in the US equivalent to £25 but its £40
-
11 RepliesYeah. And for $20 more I could/will buy Fallout 4. Or Halo 5. Or Battlefront.
-
7 RepliesAgreed that we don't know enough about what we are getting (Bungie is being stupidly obtuse about things), but that statement is meaningless. Weapons have been getting worse and worse with each DLC to date, most are reskins with bare minimum effort put in. It's nice to see they are putting a little more thought into it this time around, but that statement is meaningless to either side of the argument until we have more information.
