I've been wanting to quit this game for the longest time due to stupid business practices with content and pricing. Weapon Nerf 2.0 was just what I needed to push me out. This "rebalancing" might have been good for PvP douches but for PvE douches like me (only 10ish hours of PvP), it's BS.
I decided to do my own nerfing in the attached video. Enjoy the carnage! :-)

1 ReplyI was one of those saying well done.... CWP350, I am disappoint!
-
Lmao welcome back
-
At least you kept your strange coins motes, and titan. Seems like you knew that was all you really needed.
-
Edited by Dona: 11/6/2015 3:32:24 PMBump This guy's back, lmao.
-
Lmao and you're back... You're sad.

Edited by Urb4nPengu1n: 10/16/2015 7:52:36 PMYou're back then? What changed your mind?
-
So, you waste your time and effort to get all of this stuff and then delete it all before you even try the game out AFTER the nerf? Not very bright, now are we?
-
Later. Who ever you are...
-
You could've left before that. Just saying

7 RepliesEdited by Raymond Castro: 7/17/2015 8:25:34 AMWhen he deleted his gjallarhorn I knew it was real. This video is definitely an inspiration, I'm not as determined as you fellow solider but for now my Destiny disc will lay in its case. Now is a new Era of destinys so called story, the great Nerf. But now is my time to become a super saiyan.
*ejects Destiny*

*puts in Dragon Ball Xenoverse*
7 RepliesA weapon nerf made you leave? Hope you dont come across a real crises in life, you might commit suicide.

7 RepliesEdited by Proppur: 7/17/2015 5:34:03 PMLmao. The fact that someone is this salty over the changes in damage of guns is one of the most pathetic things i've ever seen. And why keep the Titan? You delete bottom to top, Titan being at the top. Why not create a new character, then delete your 34 Titan? And that fact that all your weapons were ascended to 365 shows how much time you put into the game...looks to me like you just need a life, dude. The amount of pathetic in the post is unreal "I'll delete all my stuff, that will send them a message!" Yeah, sure it will. The other millions of players not doing this will def be overlooked
-
You wanted to quit for the longest time so logically ascended everything to 365 first. You didn't need anything to push you out. You could have left the game but I guess you wouldn't have your moment of glory.
-
Good job bro. Im not even going to spend the few minutes it takes to delete everything. Just brought in my copy to eb games here and traded it in. F uck those bungie c ocksuckers. 1St and defenitly the LAST product I ever purchase from them worst gaming experience ever. Ive enjoyed it like a heroin addict enjoys his hit. So yeah not in a healthy way.
-
I quit too. Going back to A Realm Reborn.
-
4 RepliesThey could give a shit about GHORN people not playing with people without it. If they did they would have nerfed it long ago. It got nerfed because the idiots at bungie are scared we will GHORN our way thru the taken long in a day just like we did with all the other dlc.

9 RepliesEdited by Chucktown: 7/19/2015 2:54:34 PMDeej looks at post Deej: "Oh no..." *Deej runs out of his house, gets in his car to get to the office. It breaks down. So he goes on foot. He crosses the deserts, climbs mountains, sail the deadly seas. He must get this information to Harold Ryan, the president of Bungie. Finally, Deej reaches his destination. He is exhausted. Deej is drenched in sweat and hardly able to breath. He could fall over dead any minute. Deej: "Mr. Ryan, CWP350 has quit" Ryan: "Who?" Deej: "CWP350, sir..." Ryan: "My god...bring me the button." *Deej breaks open a glass box on the wall labeled Use in case of emergency. He pulls out a button from the scattered remains and hands it to Ryan. Ryan pushes the button Confetti pops everywhere and a banner drops that reads No One Cares in bright bold letters. A faint "Yea" can be heard in the background. Ryan: "Money well spent." *Looks over to Deej* Ryan: "Now get back to work and remember to tell me every time someone quits. I just love using this button."

4 RepliesEdited by Relict Fox: 7/19/2015 9:09:49 AMThe sad part is you haven't even played the changes and you are just assuming it won't be fun. They are making alot of adjustments because we will be gaining 10 levels on top of causing more damage with stronger attack power weapons. These changes might have actually been needed to keep things in check and not make the content irrelevant. Other games do this, this games end game pve is based highly off of an mmo end game and devs do this stuff all the time with major content. Devs nerf and buff class abilities, weapons and armor, and many other tweaks happen with bug content updates. If you couldn't even try the changes before deciding, you are definitely not someone I would ask for advice on any game. On a side note, I hate some of the changes, love some of the changes, and am on the ropes about others. I'm not going to judge based on some numbers, because chances are most of the changes will be perfectly fine.

1 ReplyOHHH NOOOOO another whiny, toxic Destiny player has been eradicated. HOORAY!
-
1 ReplyIt freed me as well. I posted the same sentiment several times. Look at this as an excuse to quit an addiction ahem, i mean game. It's the perfect time for pve guys to take a long break. Come back when destiny 2 comes out and test it. See if they learned. No big loss. voting with your wallet is more effective than any comment on a forum. That's one less person for matchmaking, 1 less person in recruitment of lfg. It makes an impact. Eventually. Didn't need to see the video to take you seriously bro. But that's what it takes to break a habit sometimes i guess haha.
