1 ReplyThe biggest problem is this mantra of "how we (bungie) intended us to play differently from the end result" PvP needs constant change to avoid the problem now where its stagnant because everyone prefers the same weapons. That I'm behind. The elitism brought on by gally was avoidable, Just sell the damn thing! But these other PVE weapon nerfs i.e. Ice breaker and so forth are not about balance its about draggin out play time while they work on new content and thats not kool at all. Anyone with common sense knows the saying "if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it" this massive weapon patch is gonna bring a hurt of bugs in its wake

Sure some weapons I like won't be as powerful as before, like my Last Word, but it's not like they will be driven straight into to ground, I'll still use it from time to time as I love my HCs. All my crappy exotics might actually get ascended and used on a regular basis, while bringing some variety to the table. The only concern I have is if the scout rifle damage buff will be applied to the Mida, if it does, we may have a problem in the near future, as the weapon is already beastly as it is.

1 ReplyPatch looks good, hopefully helps to balance gun usage for both pvp/pve. Glad I held onto auto rifles (hardlight) should be interesting. Back to grind for my elusive suros.

Hope all you DBs are happy. That's what you get. One thing I can say about bungie, they pay attention. Everything else I'm happy with. F**k thorn. Btw, I have 2 gallys, thorn, and tlw. So this isn't a response based on being hurt that I don't have these guns. I either have, or had but dismantled, almost every exotic weapon... except hawkmoon, but I'm not much of a HC player anymore, so I could care less about it. I love my ice and use it more than gally... not happy about the ice changes.

I see nothing wrong here. Black hammer doesn't make me thrilled, but I don't really use it much as I'm not the best at pulling crits consistently to make it awesome for me. Ice breaker isn't thrilling but I'm not worried. The rest is fine. I will use TLW and Thorn in PvP to see the difference firsthand. Glad to see auto rifles get back a bit of their glory. Overall not salty.
