This weeks nightfall
I'm not here to whine or anything. Just wondering how everyone feels about the nightfall this week.
I, myself, have gotten use to running it with all 3 characters within an hour or so. I'm sure it will be almost no different than running the strike, which should be close to the same time frame but I guess we will see.
Looking forward to the challenge and glad it isn't omnigul.

3 RepliesNot really worrying about weekly stuff anymore. Been doing mostly crucible for the past 2 weeks. Other than wanting to learn VoG or maybe sword bearer in Crota, PVE is pretty much dead to me. I have everything I want except for some VoG guns.

It it had a burn I'd solo it. Since it doesn't I'm gonna run it with friends.

1 ReplyJust more of a PITA than a normal one with burn. I average 10 minutes a NF with burn and 15-20 without and that's just playing normal, clearing adds, bull$#!tting and talking with friends. I play in the hour I have before work. It's nice to be able to bang out a PoE as well as the NF's before work. Today, I just did the NF's and couple of Queen bounties. Sucks but no biggie. I no longer have a driving urge to get all events and checkpoints reached.

Edited by techno2k9: 7/14/2015 3:01:02 PMDid all 3 runs this morning and got kak from it, 1st run got a Exotic Shard (Icebreaker), second got a Legendary Scout Rifle with no burn, 3rd I got another Exotic Shard (Exotic Titan Boots not the Bones) Me and the group I did all 3 with just stayed up at the top and took out the minotaur at the top and then blasted the Nexus, took about a hour to do all 3. It was a fun run but I think Nightfalls should always have a burn and not have, coins, shards, energies or none burn weapons in the loot table as they are all garbage and not needed by most people.

Without a burn, there's no real threat, and I thought it was actually easier. I ran it once this morning before work and had no problems. Felt just like a strike.

5 RepliesWay better than just being able to burn everything super fast. This is what a nightfall should be like. Or the burns should be against us. The last couple have been too easy in my opinion. Looking forward to it.

I like nightfalls but it dose drive me bonkers with the burns as when they say arc they mean solar and when they say no burn its all burns lol

2 RepliesI will miss the burn. I like the burn modifiers because they make old weapons relevant again. All of a sudden old Atheons Epilogue gets a new lease of life one time, or The Crash comes out of retirement, etc.

It took a little longer without any burn, but it was a real joy slapping those pesky Captains to death thanks to brawler. I ran it solo on my Warlock and it took me about 45 minutes. A fun strike. :)

It was a bit of a challenge. Took the Warlock first, ran it solo and it took best part of an hour. I ran Sunslinger but did my best to avoid having to use Fireborn. Got to the minotaurs at the end and got caught a good 'un! .. had to fire up the self res. was rewarded some Purifier robes. Third set and inferior to the ones I have had for a while now. Shard. Probably take the Titan next and then my Hunter. I always feel it makes you more focused running it solo with a Hunter. The other two can get away with a fair bit, but a Hunter has to be sharp, especially without a fully upgraded Bladedancer subclass like mine due to restarting the account very recently.

Hate not having a burn but it's fine. It just take like 10 more minutes to beat.

4 RepliesIts okay, but we had to have a warlock on our team at all times, we always seemed to die at Sekrion. It was fun, especially with a Force Barrier/Flane Shield/Bladedancer build.

1 ReplyNever been a fan of the no burn weeks. Especially when you have 3 different shields with epic resistance to worry about. I just hate how long it takes to drop everything.

Got it done on all three of my ladies this morning >.< took about 2 hours. I thought it was fun with no burn for a change, took awhile, but I liked some of the shootouts.

1 ReplyShould be pretty easy with no burn modifiers. It'll take a bit longer, but you wont' have to worry about getting one-shotted by anything.

This is a quality post, just a plain simple "what do you think of the nightfall" Bungie forum post. I think it's interesting, haven't.. Done it yet lol
