Cam someone tell me the story of drstiny in a nutshell?
I still trying.to wrap.my head around the awoken as well as the cobal and their story. Why did everyone die at the reef? Can so eine give me a high level over view of the races and what the heck happened?

The easiest way to say it came from a interview from a 'supposed' ex bungie employee on a reddit interview.. his 'story' boiled down to the whole beginning of Destiny, where ghost finds you was intended just for the exo class.. other classes had different 'awakenings'.. now given a lil thought it'd certainly explain the non freaked out attitude all Gaurdians have.. ie 'wake up you been Dead for a age' blah blah.. a exo 'might' accept that.. anyway going from that opening, IF the guy interviewed was only repeating what was true, ie wasn't ex worker but just heard it from one... makes the following 'non-story' much more understandable.. as in it was there but for one reason or other got removed/trimmed... even if, like me you wouldn't believe a ex bungie employee would give that kind of interview, at least that part of his 'story' actually makes sense.. imagine IF it was though, the three different awakenings, set in different areas for each class, would of loved to see how much a human would/wouldn't freak out to getting resurected.. anyways sorry for gibberish text wall, i suppose all's can be said is it'd of been great to have good story, luckily it worked well enough as is.. well till HoW for me anyways.. ruined my great (so i thought) friends list and clan nosedived too, others though were luckier i hear?..

4 Repliesone day someone used a lot of drugs and thought it would be fun to make a game where revolvers were more powerful than assault rifles then add 3 races and 3 classes with no real backstory. you then get to do raids and kill bosses even though you really aren't sure what they do. VOG was the closest we ever came to understanding much. crota apparently had a weakness to net cables. like seriously, what big bad boss is scared of some cat 5e ? apparently crota is. after all this you get to do the trials of Osiris which will make you rage when you get 8 wins and then lose the next match. you see this is part of the lore of frustration. that's a hidden book rumored to be in the vault of glass. it also contains the script for making assault rifles useless. guardians have been hunting for it ever since.
