I try to believe but I just can't fully accept His existence. I wasn't raised to accept everything I heard, and without any solid proof I can't fully be faithful.

2 RepliesI am a catholic but sometimes I find myself asking, is he really real? You just have to look for proof. People have been healed when praying to saints and there's no way to scientifically explain it. Juan Diego. At a catholic camp I went to someone was praying to figure out what his guardian angel's name was. He looked at the back of his name tag and in neat hand writing that no one wrote was a name.

Talos the mighty! Talos the unerring! Talos the unassailable! To you we give praise! We are but maggots, writhing in the filth of our own corruption! While you have ascended from the dung of mortality, and now walk among the stars! But you were once man! Aye! And as man, you said, "Let me show you the power of Talos Stormcrown, born of the North, where my breath is long winter. I breathe now, in royalty, and reshape this land which is mine. I do this for you, Red Legions, for I love you." Aye, love. Love! Even as man, great Talos cherished us. For he saw in us, in each of us, the future of Skyrim! The future of Tamriel! And there it is, friends! The ugly truth! We are the children of man! Talos is the true god of man! Ascended from flesh, to rule the realm of spirit! The very idea is inconceivable to our Elven overlords! Sharing the heavens with us? With man? Ha! They can barely tolerate our presence on earth! Today, they take away your faith. But what of tomorrow? Do the elves take your homes? Your businesses? Your children? Your very lives? And what does the Empire do? Nothing! Nay, worse than nothing! The Imperial machine enforces the will of the Thalmor! Against its own people! So rise up! Rise up, children of the Empire! Rise up, Stormcloaks! Embrace the word of mighty Talos, he who is both man and Divine! For we are the children of man! And we shall inherit both the heavens and the earth! And we, not the Elves or their toadies, will rule Skyrim! Forever! Terrible and powerful Talos! We, your unworthy servants, give praise! For only through your grace and benevolence may we truly reach enlightenment! And deserve our praise you do, for we are one! Ere you ascended and the Eight became Nine, you walked among us, great Talos, not as god, but as man! Trust in me, Whiterun! Trust in the words of Heimskr! For I am the chosen of Talos! I alone have been anointed by the Ninth to spread his holy word!

I think he does. I'm not hating on anyone who disagrees though.

日本の神様だけど何か質問ある? I am Japanese GOD. Do you have any question? and ask me question.

I as a human have no right to judge others on there religion, but I do believe God does not exist. I believe an entire higher species exists in a different dimension more advanced and complicated than all of us.
-
There is no evidence?.
-
I don't need to prove God doesn't exist. Nothing can be disproved. The burden of proof lies on you.
-
1 ReplyThat's an easy one, no and yes in that order, when you figure out why I will tell you why.

1 ReplyNo offense, I believe in God as much as I believe in Batman or Dream. The idea of an all mighty being that watches over us and helps us whenever he feels like it just seems so silly to me. Don't get me wrong, I grew up in the church. I know the bible better than a lot of so called Christians I encounter, but just the older of got, the dumber everything seemed. Until one day, I just stopped caring all together. That little void you have inside you that allows you to believe in God and go to church regularly, you know the one I'm talking about, I fill that void by trying to be a good person. I try not to be an asshole, and be the best person I can, and that brings me inner peace.

How should I know?

32 RepliesThe thing is I believe that God exist because how could someone come up with DNA. It's so complex yet so simple. It's like how would a human or explosion as some people believe, create DNA. It's just not possible. But an almighty God can do that.

9 RepliesEdited by Dirty Synth 002: 7/12/2015 1:03:59 AMThe burden of proof falls upon the people who claim god is real. Not the people who have proven why he can't exist.

4 RepliesEdited by scelestus13: 7/12/2015 2:04:51 AMAnswer me a few questions If God "loves all his children" why is religion a factor when it comes to homosexuality? If God really created man, why are there fossils of non human creatures that date farther back than us? What about Derwin's theory of evolution? Why all the suffering in the world if there is a benevolent God? I don't really have a strong opinion either way, I'm just wondering what other people think. And don't say I'm ignorant. I was born Christian, and fully understand the concepts.

As much as I want to say no, I realize that there is literally no way to prove yes or no. Arguements usually go along these lines... "Prove God exists" "Prove God doesn't exist" And that's about as far as you can get because neither said has physical evidence (the Bible doesn't count as physical evidence because it was written by a bunch dudes 2000 years ago who claimed to be "divinely inspired" or something like that)

9 RepliesOf approximately 100 billion humans that have lived so far, approximately half have died during childhood. That's 50 billion children killed in the universe a supposedly omniscient omnipotent omnibenevolent designed for us. The vast majority of those were killed by natural causes, disease and illness being chief among them. This seems an overly cruel system. In Christian doctrine these children will get a free pass to heaven for their trouble. It was previously believed that they would go to purgatory, but I think a lot of Christians were unhappy that they wouldn't see their children in heaven so it was changed. It does beg the question of why god would allow tens of billions of children to suffer and die from natural means - illnesses he created, with no free will involved - just to send them to heaven. Why not cut out the middle bit and just give them the free pass?

Can't be sure.

A circle exists no matter what... no God or conscience can deny a circle of its properties. Life is a design... what can lead to conscience is separate from anything that we can imagine for it to require.
