FoH is overpowered

I believe that the Titans Fist of havoc is way too...overpowered. The only thing I hate about it, is the stupid range. Like why so far? Striker is a close-combat subclass, not long rang. So I don't understand why a Fist of havoc can kill in the air? It's a ground slam, not a air slam. And no, the titans I've been killed by aren't hitting me in the air. I've jumped to max height and still die and it's really irritating...please do something about this?

  • You've missed out: * it's deadly to be next to during the 'build up' animation. * it passes through solid cover, including ceilings. * it can leave a lingering AoE just in case you survived everything else. * Damage that's just enough to kill before the animation starts is cancelled out, as the game decides you're already dead so you couldn't have done that damage. I think that's most things.

  • That's the only problem I have with Fist of Havoc...... If I'm at the maximum height of a hunter triple jump or a warlock glide etc, I should not be getting killed by what is essentially a hulk smash.

  • I used my Titan mainly for this Iron Banner and I can still say that FoH is honestly the most OP super. I rushed an opposing team's heavy during a match and supered on it, killing five in one burst (a few of those kills I barely even hit them and they looked well outside the radius of the blast but still died immediately), then one Warlock self resurrected to attempt to get the heavy as the sixth member of their team got there too and they both died from the Aftermath effects. That super got me seven kills, which is much more than a Golden Gun ever could without killing scores of people with lucky combustions. The damage from Aftermath is also ridiculous when compared to the damage from a shorter-lasting Nova Bomb Vortex. Don't forget that the FoH user is nearly indestructible and if the user manages to die mid-super, it is retained on death over and over until it's used successfully. All of that combined with the insane radius of the killbox it creates (which is nearly infinitely high apparently) makes FoH in need of some tweaking.

    • I'm not saying its over powered but the air range is wierd. I've been closer to titans on the ground and not died from FoH yet any height overhead seems to net a kill

    • Striker - has to be used at the right time to get more than one kill Defender - pops by every super in the game Blade dance - used correctly can rack up multiple kills every time Golden gun - 3+ kills every time if your not Wack and don't miss Tell me whats over powerd ...

        It causes a large explosion, that why is kills things above it... Nova bomb does the same thing. Also, I have all 3 classes and Titan's are so underpowered compared to Warlocks and Hunters in PVP.

      • The only problem I see with it is the vertical range, I've been flying up above a control point, about 10-20 meters high, and still died to it

          • I bet it has something to do with the shock wave/air pressure changes. That would extend its invisible lethal range by a good bit.

              • The only thing I think is overpowered on fist of havoc is the unstoppable perk. The description states you are harder to kill when using fist of havoc, when it should read impossible. I don't know how many point blank shotgun hits I've landed on someone activating their super with this perk and the game just basically ignores my hit and I die and he walks away with a sliver of his shield gone
