it called its self "Record page" its a plugin, i had it disabled, i found it out right when it activated because it asked if i wanted to enable it. I immediately cleared all my history including passwords and started to attempt to manually remove it. i couldnt find it and i realized it authorized a program running in taskmanager called "Plugin.exe" i know the programs running on my computer very well, so i found the file loacation and attempted to remove it. i closed "plugin.exe" in Task manager and tried to remove it. it automatically starts when deactivated so i went into safe mode and deleted the entire folder containing "plugin.exe" i afterwards realized that the "Record page" virus was duping the "plugin.exe" folder whenever it detected it was removed. i then gave up on removing it and ESET: Smart security 8 wasnt picking it up so i went to go get malwarebytes. i never really found out the file location of the record page file. it was somewhere in common files...

Edited by DELIVER ME MEMES: 7/6/2015 9:28:58 AMshould have deleted the registry hooks. that's how they come back. they leave a trace in the windows registry that is just enough to regen from. if you didn't manually check your registry then you're still not clean.
