Edited by TeWrecks: 12/18/2015 11:38:54 PMHello Anon, You've probably read Kotaku article about interviewing some Bungie employees, and them revealing the original story plot which was about the Hive kidnapping Rasputin and taking him into the dreadnought. Link to article: http://kotaku.com/the-messy-true-story-behind-the-making-of-destiny-1737556731 I quote "Destiny’s story went through several revisions before the reboot, but the supercut’s version revolved around players’ hunt for the warmind Rasputin, according to two people familiar with the original plans. In today’s Destiny, Rasputin doesn’t do much but listen to classical music in a steel bunker on Earth, but in the 2013 version, he would have starred in a more prominent role. Alien Hive would have kidnapped the machine and brought him to their Dreadnaught spaceship, which was later cut from vanilla Destiny and moved toThe Taken King. Originally, this Hive ship would have been part of the main story. “The entire last third of the game took place on the Dreadnaught with you rescuing Rasputin,” said one person who worked on the game". Okay the first time I read this i didn't believe Kotaku but i had to when i read this Grimiore; Cabal 4 ( it is a long ass grimiore but i took the important bit). Flayer analysis suggests that the Hive have developed unconventional counter-Dead Person capability. The capture of Hive leadership might yield vital strategic intelligence, including weapons or tactics capable of defeating Guardians permanently. We advance that the Hive fleet group near Saturn presents a strong target. For the Primus, Our highest duty done, Unflinchingly loyal, Skyburner V/A/SI Hive have developed unconventional counter-Dead Person capability = Rasputin's antimatter death rays. -blam!-ing cabal were gonna steal Rasputin from the Hive to kill our ghosts.

1.) are we still able to rescue praeydeth? 2.) why can't Toland take over the throne of oryx? 3.) why haven't the vex killed us all yet? 4.) why isn't the Christmas tree ruined yet? 5.) are the fallen houses just located in old Russia, or are they all over earth?

Edited by LoneAssassin54: 12/8/2015 12:54:30 PMThis has probably been asked a load of times, but, do we have any idea on who the first guardians were? I'm a little confused about it
-
Who is Nokris? There's a statue of him outside of Oryx's room in Regicide, and I was curious...
Is he me?
-
What position does Golgoroth have with Oryx? Servant? Guardian? Dog?

Don't want to get you in trouble for future reveals, but sometimes the lore questions leave me wondering "so what, what next?" So humanity has the Traveler, for better or worse, after Rasputin engineered its crippling, and humanity has successfully weaponized its light. We seem to be at peace internally (maybe because everybody's dead?), but what about all the aliens? Fallen seem incapable of doing much to get the Traveler back, notwithstanding what we've been told about Twilight Gap, and Hive are becoming the Denver Broncos of the 80s and 90s, sending in their John Elways and just getting smeared. Meanwhile, the Cabal are getting beaten in the AFC championship game, and the Vex seem confused about vaults, glass, and how time works. Maybe less confused than we are, but definitely not on the move. Awoken manage to "lose" their queen and continue to be irritated; who wouldn't, if some jerk's computer blew up nukes in your face and ruined your complexion. Why are things so static? I love Bungie games and shooting, and the formula works for me. But stuff actually happened and remained permanent in the Marathon and Halo universes. Here, sadly, it kinda seems like nothing really ever changes, except for the relative benefit of a hand cannon over an auto rifle. What could Bungie plausibly do next to shake up the universe? Maybe this is a stupid question, that there are a zillion things they can do. What's most glaring enough amid all the glaring loose ends that needs to get resolved?
