The taken king outrage.
3 new supers, a new strike, a new raid and yet a £40/$40 price tag.
Plus one of the missions is behind a can of redbull and two strikes are exclusive to PS and came out a year ago which we only get now on the xbox. Despite the game having very little content at launch.
For a game so lacking in content how do bungie justify the price tag? For £40 I would expect atleast 15 story missions, atleast 3 new strikes and atleast 2 raids. Plus an assortment of new features and some longevity. It's no joke to say this game is half arsed.
500 million dollars and yet it's barely got any depth of back story. It's plot is convaluted and shallow at the best of times.
Bungie you aren't the same anymore. It isn't us it's you.
Any respect I once had for this wonderful company is dead and gone.
To you the fan boys. You ruined this industry. Not companies like Activision. If people like you didn't just throw your cash at things and stood your ground we wouldn't get games like destiny. Half baked cash farms. Or broken games at launch because they wouldn't get away with it. But because you lie their and take this of off them they do. They are laughing at you and you are their defending then and it makes me cry for an industry i used to love.

And the leaked info said 12 new missions which will likely also be passed like in the how. Plus theres s new patrol they say is much larger than the previous ones that is bigger and has secrets that players won't find for months

2 RepliesWhy do people keep defending bungie and Activision...let's look at the evidence so far 1. Destiny in the official trailer was supposed to have lots of extras ie spawn from ships, no boundaries, lots more areas more social hubs so on so forth. They cut most of it on release. 2. CE. Released with very little content after promising to sort the story out and add things to it. They didn't bother. 3.HOW. yet again promised lots of content and more story. Story was ok ish. Very little content, and then the masterpiece was destroy the mines, defuse the mines. They couldn't even be bothered to think something else up to do. So do you really think TTK is going to be any better? Basically you are getting an average dlc for double the price and people think it's ok because the content in the first 2 dlc was so poor it makes this one look good.

The biggest failure of this generation. A game of monumental promise reduced to a cashcow. Bungies good reputation in tatters.we will look back at this in a few years time as an example in hiw not to run a game.

Hey, I dug up the details on the new raid. Consider this the first leak. 1. Figure out a puzzle, start the raid. 2. Figure out a puzzle, get a drop. 3. Figure out a different puzzle, get a drop. 4. Figure out some other puzzle, get a drop. 5. Spend 5 hours grabbing a chest and switching characters for a checkpoint. 6. Figure out another puzzle, get a drop. 7. Wipe repeatedly to an overly glitchy boss, get a shader and an Emblem while the rest of your fireteam gets all kind of cool stuff.

I respect your decision, but quick question, how much do you think vanilla destiny was worth? Of ttk is supposed to be bigger or even just as big as vanilla, I would say that is a good deal at least from that perspective. Also, we don't have all the info yet. While they are obviously going to keep the info that would look bad out of the limelight, I imagine the next month and a half will be filling up with reveals trying to get the community to pre-order. Truthfully, this is my last straw. Destiny has this "big" dlc to prove to me that it is becoming the game we all thought it was going to be. The leak and foreshadowing of class specific weapons makes me interested and a third subclass.

You have almost 2 months to decide if its worth the value. there is more than 1 strike(meant to be at least 4 and thats not counting exclusives) 3 new sub classes 1 new raid new pvp modes and new maps. more weapons than in vanilla destiny(said to be more exotics also) New massive patrol area that has exotic chests hidden through out. a real story with real cut scenes.(more missions than tDB and HoW combined) honestly, doesn't seem like a waste to me, but like I said you have at least 1 and a half months before you even have to make a choice.

I've got a completely different gripe When I bought Destiny (beta/day 1 player) I got the digital version for 360 (and dlc) which also granted me free versions for xbox one which is nice since I play on both - friends on both I'm not seeing any similar offer at this point - if anyone knows of one, please reply or message me on the side I'll probably buy both x2 if I have to but obviously I'd rather not. FWIW: I've been a gamer since before videogames if you count pinball, the price of TTK is nothing compared to the amount of crapware/garbage games/short life cartridges/controllers that fall apart/rolls of quarters dropped in arcades/long list of not-so-nostalgic problems here/etc.... These are the "Good ol' Days" and they keep getting better every decade

5 Repliesyou forget the 12 plus new story missions, the redesign of bounties, patrols and public events, new eniemies, new weapons, new armors, new sub classes, new pvp modes and maps, new explorable areas. I'm probably forgetting things but from what i have read thus far i don't see a problem with the price. The guys need to make money for their work other wise future DLC and xpacs etc will never get released!

2 RepliesYes I agree it is lacking content especially for 2/3 the cost of the original game... But I've seen worse! As of yesterday I learned about Skylanders because of my friends kid. You actually need to buy the toys in order to unlock the entire game!!! The main toys are $15 US and could cost $5-30 each! I just spent $150 yesterday on them as payment for rent. So now that this has been brought to light... All of the complaints need to stop lmfao. Yes! I paid part of my rent in Skylanders hahahaha
