Phalanx Trouble
Destiny is a good game that I rarely get mad at. I find it hard to get mad at this masterpiece actually. But the only thing that just confuses/peeves me off is the Cabal Phalanx.
I don't know if its a glitch or an actual thing when a Phalanx hits you with their shield and you instantly die. I don't mean oh you were low on health. NO. They hit me (while I'm at full health), I'm guessing I glitch through a wall, and the game gets confused and kills me. It blames the architects but I know that the wall didn't attack me. Please fix this I've been having problems with it since I first got this game.
If this isn't a glitch or bug wtf Bungie. Fix it, they have a shield to begin with, don't buff it.

It's a bullshit physics glitch that they have yet to fix. It needs to be fixed. The only reason I die in Cabal rounds of Prison of Elders is because of the Phalanx. I do know it'd be something that is harder to fix, since it's part of the physics of the game, but it needs to not happen.

This occurs frequently. A similar glitch occurs when I fall on a corner or an edge. Not a very long drop, dead guardian. There is a crack in the ground at the ember caves that does it regularly.

It's actually not the melee attack but the wall, rock, etc that you're slammed into that delivers the killing blow. Like the other person stated it is a physics issue the definitely needs to be fixed. I was in a blessing of light bubble with the St.14 equipped but since the attack started on the outside of the bubble the phalanx was able to follow through with his attack which slammed me into a wall killing me and with the premature end to my bubble left my team mates of guard and quickly dead. Annoying yes but also comical how far I was thrown by that melee attack.

I wait until right as they go to melee then shoot them with a shotgun

They won't fix it until the cabal dlc. Then everyone will want to bump this.
