4 RepliesI wish it was $40 in my territory, over here (Australia) they are asking $70 (roughly $55 USD), which is as much as the game cost when it launched. I'd really like to know their justification for the price, given it's for a digital expansion targeted at people who already own the base game and previous 2 DLCs.

Ok let's do some math here You have a 300+$ console Your playing on a 100+$ tv (devils advocate) You have destiny 60-70$ (depends on console) You probably have atleast 3 or more games. Another 150$ ish You obviously have a computer/smartphone to make this bitchy thread in the first place (I don't need to put a price here but computers and smartphones aren't cheap!) You also obviously have live services for your console which can cost up to 60-65$ a year. And you "can't afford" a 40$ dlc. Grow up, don't like it don't play it.

Without a clear insight of what actually is available at this point in the expansion, It's hard to say whether or not the price is justified. If it has a similar amount of content as the core game, then yes I do think the price is worthy in my opinion.

$40? When I look at the xbox store (Australia) it says $70 for TTK by itself with the weapons pack. I'll probably get it. But who does the pricing? I paid $60 for the core game when it was released? Why is the dlc worth more?
