8 RepliesEdited by CrazyCadder: 6/29/2015 1:08:34 AMThis game has a 10 year plan. If you're not willing to buy DLC to keep playing it, then you picked the wrong game. This isn't like past console games where you pay one price and play the game until it's over and then trade it for another game. This game, for all intents and purposes, is on going, evolving, and won't end. It's much like WoW in that regard.

I love playing eso instead.

Edited by iZnth: 6/29/2015 1:10:50 PMBecause TTK in this game seems designed to piss people off. Thanks, I'll be here all week, don't forget to tip your waitress and try the veal.
-
Because it's more content. I think 40$ is worth a new raid strikes, missions, subclasses weapons,Game modes , New everything . It's a whole new game. I think u guys are greedy. You want this Shit for free. This cost money to make you know. Deej got to eat and feed his kids. He als got to get his tans lol
-
2 RepliesSuper expensive ?!?..........
-
Too many games that look like they will be awesome so I'm holding off on TTK. I'll pick it up when it goes on sale for one of the Xmas deals.
-
In fairness TTK will probably provide more game time than most games that cost $60.
-
2 RepliesIt's $40 because Activision did market research and determined this is the highest price point approximately 90% of the interested market will bare. And they're probably right. People may or may not be happy about it, but once they see youtube vids about the new weapons or 3rd subclass, when they see the new armor in pvp or see the 3rd subclass in action, 90% or more who are interested in TTK will pay the $40. They may not be happy about it, but they'll pay.
-
It's $70 here in Australia... By itself... It's $10 more than vanilla wtf.
-
Its still that price because people have already pre-ordered it at that price. They have no reason to want to reduce it as long as people buy it
-
2 RepliesBecause Bungie no longer exists and Bungievision is all that remains. $$$$$$>>>>>>>>fan base
-
3 RepliesMake Thorn a one shot kill and I will pay $100 ;-)
-
id wait for the game of the year edition if i was you , you will get all dlc in it
-
Time...to....kill?
-
Because
-
Because it's like 2 expansions in one. $20 +$20=$40...
-
Because the original plan had the DLC set at $40. Problems need to be overwhelmingly catastrophic for any major corporation to negatively change (financially) a plan that was set in stone ages ago. The plan hasn't changed because although the road has been rocky, it has been successful, and on track. Rocky and overwhelmingly catastrophic are unfortunately not the same. We can whine and complain all we want, but the fact is that we keep buying what they're selling at the price they planned. If that fact doesn't change, nothing else will, and no amount of whining will change that. (For an example of 'overwhelmingly catastrophic' see Assassin's Creed Unity, and the change was in regards to the Season's Pass)
-
Well they probably can't lower the price when people have already preordered. How will that work? I hope the complaints lead to more content and better game overall. Complaints need to be constructive or it makes you look like your 15 with no job.
-
3 Replies40$ is a fair price for something AS BIG AS THE -blam!-ING BASE GAME
-
Because Activision is a money hungry corporation hence Bungies down fall...
-
2 RepliesIt's 40 gigs lol
-
13 RepliesBecause it's probably twice the content of House of Wolves and The Dark Below. $20 x 2 = 40.
-
When will GTA 5 be that cheap.
-
You haven't thrown your money at your screen yet?
-
Ya I'm not touching it til it's 10 dollars or I come across a code for free
