Why is ttk still 40$

2 RepliesThey say that the amount of content in the dlc justifies the enormous price tag. However based on the past two dlcs I'm highly skeptical. I mean story missions that last about 2 hours MAXIMUM. You gotta be kidding me. Even if it was 4 hours for the ttk it doesn't justify 40 dollars

Dud TTK was originally $40 from the beginning, the controversial issue about legendary and collectors and how their stuff was unattainable, they fixed that part. The next was about Luke Smith he (kinda) fixed that.

11 RepliesPrice is too high, they made it worse with the insulting extra shit. I have over 100$ invested in this game and 1000 hours and basically im am walking from the game when taken king hits. I cant in good sound decision making pay more than the game itself is worth for 1 expansion when i already paid for the game and 2 baby expansions at full price. Any other company in history... that 40$ for the first 2 expansions would have been a season Pass for anything else that comes out. So now they want me to be 160$ in a game that someone new coming in now can have everything i have for 100$ less, basically just the price of the original game, 60$. Now you can tell me game depreciate, i know this. But people like me who pay full price at launch are the bread and butter for these companies. They shouldnt be bending us over deliverance style down the road. So thats my opinion. Ive made my choice to end my destiny career once TtK hits and thats it. I guess its been a good run of frustrating grinding that i though would payout one day.. it didnt. But i made some good friends. Later bungie, its too late to fix this and you wont be seeing my money at launch for awhile.
