Bungie, please look at this! This is next-level Trials Hacking!

My fire team and I were 7-0 when we joined a match with these fellows. Immediately we all noticed that no one else was on the map. We decided that we could wait out the timer and capture the control point, BUT THE POINT DIDNT SPAWN FOR US. Instead, the other team captured the point several times and when the heavy ammo spawned they picked it up, but we couldn't because we were on a different version of the map. Towards the end of the last round the maps merged and everybody could see each other, but i couldn't hurt the titan! He punched me to death while his teammates were frozen. After the match all of our destiny applications closed and I couldn't get the end of the recording. My guess is that this is a popular tactic of the other team, because when your application closes then you cannot save the video of the match. This is not a connection problem because in the video you can see that the connection for the match is green. I feel as though this form of hacking is easier to identify as you can obviously see that the other team was completely relaxed throughout the whole game. When we messaged the other team about the issue they said "too bad, scrubs." Bungie, please look into their trials matches and you will see that they have been on a winning streak using this method. Since I told them that we were going to report them they played a real match, but if you look at their past matches you can see that they have been winning games 1-0 or 2-0 without getting any kills or deaths. Their usernames are [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and[REDACTED]. I have no guarantee that you will see this forum post, but I can only hope that these players will get what they deserve!

  • Please do not name players you believe are cheating. This is "Name and Shame" and is against the Code of Conduct While I can't confirm that those players were cheating, Bungie takes cheating and network manipulation very seriously. I assure you, Bungie actively investigates all forms of cheating. As mentioned in the Bungie weekly Update, many players have been dealt with already. When you believe someone is cheating the best thing you can do is use the in-game Report Player function: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12960

    • Did you use the in-game report tool?

      • Hello Nightmare I would suggest taking down the players usernames. Bungie has a code of conduct for Name shaming. Which can result in this post being taken down. Bungie takes cheating seriously and as already issued bans for Trials of Osiris. As long as you reported the players for cheating, Bungie will take care of the rest. Hope this helps! Cheers!
