please reply to those Veterans who wish to get collectors edition but dont wish to buy Destiny and both DLC 1 and 2 again

EDIT: Since Bungie are content with how they do things, placing a whopping $20 price tag on the cosmetics, (WTF) I am now only suggesting items for Veterans as they are the people hit most by this entire wreak of a marketing plan. so here it is: Veterans need to be 100% recognised for there contribution to Bungie and Destiny, along with the Shader, Sparrow and Lynx Emblem, I or We would like 2 of the following additions: A new Ghost shell, tailored to the Black of the shader A new Ship, tailored Black with racing stripes A new Social space called Vanguard Refuge, housing a Cryparch with higher chances to roll better, a Postmaster and a Bounty board A Class item for each class that doubles Experience gained, doubles Glimmer income and doubles Marks attained
p.s. the last 2 are trolls on my part
which 2 do you guys hope for, leave a comment and like, thank you OP will be deleted in time: Dear Bungie The Taken King collectors edition comes with Destiny and its 3 expansions and loads of goodies (Exotic class items, new Emotes, Shaders), why should the veterans have to buy Destiny and Expansions 1 and 2 again just to get them? Should there not be a digital collectors edition that is only the Taken King along with the extras, why should the Vets have to buy the game again after our long standing support of your game? this is my solution: The Oryx Digital Edition Inside is the following: The Taken King Exotic Class Items for Each class 3 Shaders New Emotes for each class Early Access Weapons Pack The VIP items: -Lynx Emblem -Black Sparrow -All Black Shader (personally added) Black Ghost with Red Eye/Glow that all for a reasonable Veteran's price of $45 to $60 I call that a great deal for the veterans, what do you think? EDIT: So far you offer us Veterans in your VIP deal is: A Emblem A all black Sparrow And A all black shader And what I or probably we would welcome added onto what you offer: A all black ship shader A all black ghost shell A all black gun shader A all black exotic gear shader Moon walk emote what you guys think? if you like please bump this up and like, if you wish to comment please do, add your suggestions and thoughts, hopefully Bungie will respond Be well Guardians (the players) and let your light (mind) guide your fate (money) against the Darkness (Bungie/Activision) fight for the right #VeteransUnite

      • Well tomorrow is the big day... Bungie is going reveal something that is "even better" than the exotic class items, class emotes and the shaders. If it isn't.... Bungie is going to have hide from the fire in the streets.

                • This: There is no way to earn the Digital Collector’s bonus items for those who already own Destiny, short of buying the entire game again for $80. This means that someone who hasn’t played any Destiny can come into The Taken King with a class item that speeds their own progression, three new unattainable emotes, and three unique shaders while those who have been around since Day 1 would have to shell out the big bucks if they wanted to enjoy the same luxuries. Yes, they get the Founder’s set, which is a thoughtful gesture – but it’s an incomplete one. There is absolutely zero reason for Bungie to withhold anything from its most dedicated Destiny fans, and anything short of offering full access to the new stuff for a price that doesn’t include re-buying the game is at best a seriously disappointing miscalculation, and at worst a cynical grab at more money. Who would truly appreciate three unique shaders? Who has been clamoring for more personality in the form of emotes? Who would die for the ability to speed up the grind with new XP Class items? Bungie is acting like they don’t know. The answer, is Destiny’s current players, who are vocal about their desires and do not wish to pay $80 for a few digital items. It’s in the labeling, too: the “Collector’s” Edition. Destiny is, in itself, a game of collection. A lot of its players have been spending the better parts of their weeks for the past year amassing a collection of weapons, armor, sparrows, emblems, shaders, and class items to be proud of. And now, unless they have $80 to spend, their collection will be incomplete. The name is bait, and it’s frustrating to have to purposefully not rise to it. And who’s most likely willing to bite the bullet and purchase the Collector’s Edition, anyway? Is it a new player? No. Someone who is tentatively reaching out to explore a franchise they’re unfamiliar with is generally not going to commit to the most expensive version of that game. The Collector’s Edition ensnares players who already have most of it, but have got to have it all. It’s so important for a game like Destiny to be able to attract new players. They breathe new life into the community, and are instrumental in helping to sustain the growth of a massive franchise like Destiny. The Taken King and its Collector’s Edition are certainly jam-packed with enough stuff to entice them in droves. Unfortunately, it’s the veterans that are getting left out. Whether or not a longtime Destiny player gets a suitable thank-you gift means nothing for the bottom line, but when they don’t, discontent is not far behind. The last thing Bungie wants is for its biggest fans to feel slighted, and judging by the collective reaction to the pre-order packages, it’s safe to say that many do. Bungie needs to evaluate how important it is to withhold exclusives for those who are paying for the Collector’s Edition. It would be extremely easy to include the emotes, shaders, and class items with the VIP Founders package, free of charge – or even sell them for $4.99, etc. This would be the perfect way to reconcile the mammoth deficit of $40 that it would require to get a chance at the Collector’s Edition content, and would confirm that Bungie feels there’s nothing that its faithful don’t deserve access to. The Taken King doesn’t have to do much to have a better reception than The Dark Below, but in announcing its availability and pricing, Bungie has already made a step in the wrong direction. Fortunately, the ship could be easily righted, if Bungie proves that they do indeed listen to their community and understand their needs. Looking ahead to growing the playerbase is fine, but right now, Destiny’s current community needs to feel supported by Destiny.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=132&v=V0xn2TUXtWU At the 2:00 minute mark you see a dance that wasn't in the release version of the game. This is from E3 2013. If this is what they're selling us, stuff that has clearly been there from pre-launch. I think it'll break the camels back.

                      • I don't understand why I have to pay $80 just to get the new exotic class items and shader (and emotes). I'm a veteran player who has bought the game and been playing the game since day one and I have purchased the expansion pass. I have been playing destiny for over 600 hours and some of my friends are over 1000. I don't think you should diss the veterans with this collector's edition. It's a great steal for new players but a slap in the face to old players. I'm an Xbox one player and I can understand why you give Playstation early content but you are hurting all the veterans on every platform by doing this. I appreciate how much you listen to the community for advice on how to better enhance the game so please listen to us again for this bungie.
