Should I hide my lighthouse emblems?
People calling me a jerk, bully, trying to intimidate, or people judging me thinking I'm an elitist or prick, etc. Should I use low level emblems to avoid these stereotypes??
Edit: I use them because for me, getting flawless cards were big accomplishments

Don't listen to those guys . It is an amazing feature you got it and I am proud of you ( :'( I'll never get one ) there is not a single person who may bully you , get mad etc. Maybe you are just better at small amounts of enemies and not in the bigger crucible fireteams. Not a single person may restrain you of using it, it is yours and you can do whatever you want with it and the one's who think you can't can better turn of the game and cry alone in a dark corner ( so wil I :'( since I have the WORST luck you dont even know ) .so go and live a happy life in the way you want .

I am usually teabagged when people kill me in crucible using a shotgun, super or thorn. I will still use my emblem.

I find it appalling Bungie actually thinks that an environment that creates harassment and bullying is a perfect place to make "friends" instead of just implementing matchmaking. But I digress... [b]Wear it with pride.[/b] If someone says anything to you it's because they can't or won't do it. I might not be the best PvP player, but I will sure as hell laugh in anyone's face when I've sweat enough for something I've earned.

I wear them because they are exotic. I don't think you are bullying somebody by wearing a emblem lol. If you were running around tea bagging, lag switching, spam messaging them and stuff that is more like bullying.

4 RepliesI like people who wear the emblem then I can embarrass them and make them question how they ever went 9-0 or why they try to show off when they got beat so badly by true PvPers. I've played hundreds of people with this emblem that were clearly carried to 9-0 or got lucky facing very bad teams. Hence why you don't see it on any of my characters because its really nothing special or exclusive with so many average players running around with it. Now if it was 30-0 or something like that with no boons then that is something to be proud of.

Personally, I think having a low level, simple emblem with a high grimoire is much more intimidating than the Exotic emblems

I only use mine on my titan as my other characters have designated roles. Ie, main warlock is well my main, second warlock is my dead orbit and my titan is my shiny gold pvp character(even though I hate pvp)

If I ever got it, I would wear it proud. People can call me whatever they want. Haha

A lot of people who can't get it will resent it and will say its for kids who need an ego boost. And in a sense that's what trials is. But if you're proud of getting flawless than rock it! I don't use it cause I think it looks lame

1 ReplyJust hide it for the next couple of weeks or so. Eventually the collective hive mind of rage that is the player-base will find something else to rage against and it'll be safe to put them back on.

I really don't see what's the fuss. Just be good at crucible and have good teamwork and you can go flawless. I'm not amazing and I've gone flawless and I didn't really mean to. We played against try hards too but we won because of our coordination. All you need it 3 people who aren't stupid and have a little experience playing together and just have a plan.

14 RepliesI enjoy destroying guardians with exotic emblems in regular crucible. Funny how often they get the lowest score. About 50% of the time. I respect anyone that legit earned one, but the number of cheater scumbags has made me basically hate anyone rocking that emblem. Not all cops are bad, but the shitty ones make me hate everyone with a badge.

4 RepliesI've only had time to make it to the lighthouse once. I can only do it when my 2 year old is asleep (I work opposite shifts than the wife). If my friends aren't on when he's taking a nap, no trials for me (I'd rather not try it with randoms). The 1 time I went flawless, my emblems were full :'(.

Why? Just ignore the hate and continue on. Just because people are butthurt you shouldn't have to hide something you got.

I hide mine. Trials is lame I want to play destinys broken pvp for fun not for rewards.
