Should I hide my lighthouse emblems?
People calling me a jerk, bully, trying to intimidate, or people judging me thinking I'm an elitist or prick, etc. Should I use low level emblems to avoid these stereotypes??
Edit: I use them because for me, getting flawless cards were big accomplishments

I still wear them but because so many people are getting carried for "PayPal donations wink wink" or a nonexistent lottery it's getting to the point where I'll probably take them off

I put mine on to join a team then I switch it

Wear it with pride guardian , you earned it .

No wear it with Valor because those scrubs are envious of your might and skill

Took mine of to lower expectations.

Wear them. If you see a player with one and they are absolutely terrible, know that you are better and actually deserved/earned it.

I lost count of how many bad players I stomped in crucible this week that had the exotic emblem on.. Wear it if you honestly luv it but trying to use it to be perceived as a badass doesn't work.

Of course you can tell automatically these kids were highly inexperience grimoire score around 2200 but claim to be highly experience bc they were 34. Anywho, many of their mistakes were called out and out of the blue they questioned a buddy of mine about how many times has he gone flawless in trials, then the brat proceeded he went TWOx lmao. So of course my bud and I laugh at him, my bud has gone over 10x yet he never brags about it. My bud later equipped the shader but changed it back to whatever previous shader he had. I have the emblem too as well on my alts. I guess some people now use that emblem to fill their heads full of stupidity. IDk

I hide mine because so many cheaters managed to get one so its kinda lost its special place.

If you didn't lag switch or "hand pick" your matches, you deserve your emblem. Wear it proudly.

When I see those emblems, 80 percent of the time it means im gonna have a really laggy match.

1 ReplyI wear mine during the week, but hide it when Trials is live otherwise I get bombarded with messages and invites for ToO and I have a pretty set team of 4 we rotate between so I don't want to deal with telling everyone who asks.

Fck what others think. If you like that emblem wear it. Why should you care what some random jerk on the internet thinks about you? You know why you have it and you earned it. That gives you every right to wear it. There will always be stupid people and stereotypes. Once you stop caring about what others think about you your life will become much more enjoyable.
