Hi Sodac,
While I can't say whether these particular players were cheating, I can guarantee you that Bungie actively investigates network manipulation and other forms of cheating. We will continue to monitor game performance for people abusing the system and enforce our policies. As mentioned in the two recent Weekly Updates, we've already dealt with a number of players who were confirmed to be cheating in one form or another. Rest assured that we will continue to do so.

Bungie you are terrible at following up complaints. Imagine if someone complained about a meal at a restaurant... If your company where dealing with it to get them a replacement they might recieve it a few weeks later. Your all very incompetent

Click the button to make yourself feel important. Because nothing has ever been enforced except for backing out of trials matches. Same sh1ts have been doing the same sh1t for months now. (started in march's IB) So what does the button do? Ive clicked report. All it ever did for me was generate some fluff email stating thanks for trying to make destiny a better place. Whoopie! Might as well drive my sparrow off cliffs and crap, there is NOTHING left to do without being booted, lagged or modded on. Fix some crap Bungie. Then send me the email saying sorry for letting shit get so out of control...maybe then pvp, trials and POE will be playable again. You got a LONG ways to go to repair the damage you did by not enforcing your own rules. A VERY long ways. Your community is full of garbage. Hire a clean up crew and start nuking these sh1t stains forever. Cheaters are PATHETIC. Get them the frick out of this game once and for all. DELETE THEM. if they make a new character, DELETE IT. Just keep deleting until they get the message, "not welcome, NEVER welcome"

For what it's worth, that email you got actually means that action was taken against a player you reported. We don't provide specific details, but only people who reported a player who had action taken against them receive that email :)

Could you please state a duration of the temporary ban from trials, I got temporary banned for following a ' friends ' advice as I've only played for a few days I didn't know of the problems, I didn't win or ' lighthouse ' I got 2 wins as 2 of my fellow fire team were telling me to leave I got caught and they didn't so I'm now without my gear that I got genuinely and got a temp ban for them. Hope you can help I have learnt my lesson. Many thanks In advance

I guess i can appreciate that...but even still the cheaters are temporarily placed in timeout, but i was placed there virtually, by them, and jackassed out of rewards for 3 weeks straight. We had a pretty good team. But we are all finished. We will not subject ourselves to allowing some cheating punk fazed out fool the satisfaction of cheating us again, it WILL NOT happen. The only action I/we can take is to NOT participate. And you know somethng, its working. We are simply avoiding this games pvp and other activities where the scum tends to gather. I wish you guys would make a punkbuster-esque program/filter that would keep those players out of our game. We never want to see those players, ever again. I will NEVER be able to finish my grimoire. And it has NOTHING to do with me or my play, it has everything to do with broken game modes and prolific cheating. To make things worse, they are the reason we no longer have matchmaking. Just look at what they have done to affect this game. Im sure you guys @hq thought I was totally full of crap back in march when i came to forum and expressed concerns over what i was witnessing. But they were just practicing their techniques back then...now they have refined them and are very crafty and creatively destroying YOUR game, your job and all destiny experiences and they are doing it right under your nose. My own kid received death threats from the same kind of people. I spent close to a month in support chats with xbl, because of your inaction. I hate bullies. I fight them with passion. But i cannot and will not do it alone anymore. Either give me a badge and some authoritay, or kiss my pvp behind goodbye. Ill stick to activities i can control. Activities i can host. Where I decide who can participate and who needs a swift kick in the nuts. I dont discrimnate. I dont require weapons, all i require is that you dont mess with people or affect the groups connection or experience negatively. And i hear the nword one time, im kicking AND reporting. Its time to start having some respect and manners in this game. It is OUT OF CONTROL.

Is there a way he can get his 3 wins back? Cause it's not fair. We tried to report them through destiny but we can't find them.

I just had this happen and have no way of reporting it to Bungie. Why is there no option to message Bungie support with a link to the game in which you experienced cheating?

I was just DDOSed while playing ToO. Although I have no way of going back and reporting the players because I can't see players I've played with in the past. How should I report players if I can't actively view their profilers and report them? *I can confirm it was a DDOS cause I texted my fireteam and the confirmed they had to restart their routers and playstations to gain online connectivity*

After another guy have been for some "reason" resistant to mellee attacks and also I shot a guy with shotgun from close distance straight to the head and NOTHING !!! He shot me back once and of course I died !!! Because of this stupid cheaters in this actually fantastic game it sometimes making me instead so upset and frustrated !!! DO SOMETHING FINALLY !!! Otherwise only players who will play this game will be just CHEATERS and no one else ... Also those server maintenances are not helping to much it's still the same...Like keeping me out of mission,strike,patrol... to the orbit and showing me error code baboon or what is it...

You can't report them if you get kicked and there is no way to bring their name up again.

Thank you for the reply! If you look at the evidence from all of the recent games of these three on all 3 of their characters you will see that they win by the enemy team disconnecting. I have played this game (a lot) and I have never seen so many DNF and uneven teams ever. This simply cannot be coincidence. Just please look into their accounts it will take 5 minutes and you will see how correct I am in this matter. I have the evidence laid out right in front of you, all you have to do is look at it. If that is not enough evidence then please just keep these three under your radar. Finally, once you are booted from a match you cannot report the players within Destiny. I did report them for cheating through Xbox Live's system. The match hadn't even started before me and my friend were both kicked from the game so we were unaware they were cheating until it was too late. I have been playing Bungie's games for over 10 years now and have never once cheated or tried any exploits. I have been on the receiving end multiple times, too many to count to be honest. I would just like something done about this. People like this ruin the game and make honest players quit playing and then that in turn kills the game. Once again, thank you for the reply and giving my thread and this matter some attention.
